  1. buy a new set of suspension, generally called coil-overs. Plenty of types and prices on the market.
  2. Nasty!! Smurfs blood will always look for it's natural environment. It is futile to try and keep it contained in gboxes for too long. Pitman arm puller is what is used to remove ball joints. basically two or three adjustable arms with claws on the end and a threaded center bolt with tip.
  3. Hey guys, I got a 1990 32 that I bought a while back as a project car. Can you please check this vin? 6u9000bnr32006987 Cheers
  4. I was talking about Dale's car. Uaually 10-15 psi difference throttle open, and throttle closed.
  5. LHO!!! Laugh head off. RB is just a sereies designator for the engine type, family. eg ca18, ca20 inline 4 cyl VG30, vq25 vq30, vq35 v6's
  6. Mine got 175 with the throttle wide open, 160 with throttle closed r32GTR 8.5:1 compression RB26DETT 9.2:1 or something on RB25DET So either you did test with throttle closed or you have a lower static comp ratio?
  7. Where do I start!!! Most are listed in the manual, need alot of drifts supposedly, to put bearings in etc. spanners extensions Socket set deepsocket set breaker bar pin punch set decent circlip plier set pitman arm puller gear puller+ extendable one Slide hammer to pull out shift rod bearings.(work had one) rubber mallot big hammer A vice to mount the bloody thing on (don't have one yet)! container and bag to put all the bits in. clean parts in kerosene.
  8. Some of my 1:18 diecasts and 1:24 diecast and plastic kits. This was my project from before, r324 drifter: This is the car finished Lowered, Put wheels from a v35 350GT onto it, 18' front, 19' rear: Put a massive carbon cannon on for a laugh, and it also runs some neg camber. Just the interior and a few little things to do To spoiler or not to spoiler, I'm still deciding. No prizes from where this is from:
  9. Congrats, and wish you best of luck. Search for 4WD fault and you might find answers. Computer in the boot that had light that flashes red will tell you fault codes. Do a major service and change all oils, engine oil, front and rear diff oil, gbox and transfer case oil and flush coolant. 4 th gear usualy noisy at low rpm for older gboxes(wear and tear). I hope you have some money left over to fix up any problems that may or may not come up. Just the nature of the beast!!
  10. Very nice effort there.
  11. location??
  12. Windfield cars are red, that's why they are worth more!! By the way, nice collection.
  13. reco it, and it should be like new.... Easier to buy s/h box and fit it though.
  14. LOL, I was waiting for someone to bring that up!! I'll never use that oil again either. After they put that in it was making a nice bearing whine noise that wasn't there before. I now use castrol synthetic gear oil and castrol synthetic LSD oil, diff works like new!!!
  15. Here's one I destroyed earlier!!! Got into first, then second but third went BANG, then it sounded like I was draging a tailshaft under the car. Got a s/h one and it's been good so far....... Pull it apart in my carport, just need to buy long gear pullers and a ppg gearset or os gikken! the insides: enjoy This happened while I was in Bundaberg. Changed gbox in front yard. Pulled it apart in Syd.
  16. It's actually normal for it to light up then go away when you start car. It is doing a quick diagnostic check to make sure sensors etc are fine and it can operate correctly.
  17. Brand new one would cost a s#$t load and easier and cheaper to buy s/h usually.
  18. They are the same. Tested their resistance vs temp and both do the same thing. Good old nissan.
  19. easier to pull the engine out I'd say.
  20. GTRsean

    Gtr Silvia

Didn't advan imn Syd do that to an s14 or 15, GTR running gear, awd??
  21. If you do decide to do it, hook em up in parallel to reduce pressure drop and reduce restriction. Or, buy one of the many readily avaiable front mount kits on the market. They ain't too exy these days. Cheers
  22. More about style of pipes than age. Are they tuned length like trust, HKS or not like UAS. Cheers
