You'll have to push the grommet in from the engine side with a long screwdriver so that you can put the loom through.
Take off the passenger kickpanel and fold back the carpet and sound deadening to see where the loom goes through. Gromet should be grey in colour.
I personally wouldn't run it any higher than that (.85 BAR- 13.5PSI).
Because if it is stock the intercooler can't cool the air efficiently and you may get fuel lean out issues, detonation (engine damage)
At night time you could get away with that boost.
You should try and see what sort orf mods have been done to your car.
Guessing stock boost would be .6BAR 8-9PSI?
Been there, done that too.
The only damage you would do is to your tyre tread and when the attessa awd doesn't pull you into line after you over cooked it out of the corner.
No damage, just wheelspin and a very tail happy 32.
Note: the r33's don't like it though due to the way the transfer cases are actuated.
my 32GTR gets 470km out of a tank before the fuel ligh comes on. Driving smoothly most of the time and using 5th gear over 60km/h
These have a 72 litre tank so atm it costs around $90+ to fill er up on 98.
If I get up it it'll all be over in around 300k's.
Damn, the governments is getting rich off us!!
oh yeah. If you fit 19's make sure you use tyre that have the same outside rolling diameter to your originals. eg; 245/35 R19's. Some tyre brochures have that info.
I've got a set of RSR springs to suit an R32 GTR. Centre of the wheel to inside guard measurement is around 352mm. About half an inch to an inch between tyre and wheel arch when fitted.
They are variable rate and thickness.
PM if you are interested. I'll be going on the cruise on the 25th sep.
17x9 wheels
firestone tyres 235/45 sport series.
got em for $130 a tyre
wet grip 7/10 suprised me that they grip and hold pretty well (AWD may have helped here.)
dry grip 8/10
For the price these are way better than nangkang nsf 1 tyres
Use lock nuts on your mags
At least have a 3 point immobiliser
keep valuables hidden when they are in your car
If you park on the street, a car cover is a good way of not attracting attention to your car as well.
Keep your doors locked when driving around to avoid getting carjacked.
my overflow bottle in the 32 keeps going down too. I found that its due to the openig just aft of the cap and everytime i accelerated the coolant would slosh out the back, behind the overfloe bottle.
My lights and instruments didn"t dim once I changed the battery as well. So it could be that your bat could be on the way out or it doesn't have enough capacity?
I'll see what I can do. Does your 4wd light come on the dash. If it does theres a fault. My lights used to dim when it went of too but changing the batter fixed it cos it was stuffed on mine.
I had the same problem on my car. Get marine grade silicon as it is resistant to fuel etc.
Mine's still good after so many months. Just make sure the sufaces are clean.
I ain't got no AFMs so it doesn't matter what I do to the stockers. Took the return pipes off the BOVs and she sounds great. It's not too loud and doesn't sound like any BOV I've heard before. You can hear how much pressure gets released depending on how much boost is down the hole.
It's a tough one to troubleshoot cause I can't see it for myself!
Does the engine vibrate?
So it doesn't seem to be an exhaust leak?
Could be a spun bearing, but I could be wrong....
You'd have to get it checked out then dude to see how much your'e up for.
I've seen engines for sale around 5k if you shop around but I'd get it checked out first.
Good luck
Did you do anything before it happened, service, burn outs, etc?
1. Do you have oil pressure when it's started or is there none.
2. Year model and klms
3. Louder at the top or bottom of engine
4. If you push the clutch in does the noise go away
