  1. More caster in the front end is what it needs to help with turn in. It's magic!!!
  2. It's a race, to get em on the road!!!!
  3. Just go the ID's
  4. Maybe they didn't check valve clearances before/after fitting new cams... I think the bucket over shim is better for high RPM and bigger cams. Toyota guys always complain about their shim over bucket crap... easier to change shims though, cams don't have to come out.
  5. Cooling pro was the one's I got for my 32 then, from just jap!
  6. Thanks guys!! As you can see Piggaz special part is on, the backing plate And Eric's flywheel locking tool, awsome bit of engineering!!! Gearbox is on too. Just a few little things to go.
  7. If looked after....
  8. Pull the CAS plug out and crank over for 15 seconds till oil light goes out. If it doesn't, wait for a minute, then crank for another 15 seconds. If it's still no good by then, check oil levels, and contact engine builder...
  9. autobahn88 hoses. Seem to be the one's to get. I have some on my 34 for over 2 years, still good as new. Also put a set on a mate's 32GTR.
  10. 32's are long in the tooth, 33 and 34's have a better chance these days.
  11. Cheers! I'm glad too. So tired!
  12. New metal shim intake gaskets fitted too. Got up to the stage of fitting the plenum, then it's nearly ready to go in.
  13. Thanks Mark! Yeah, I agree any bigger and Sydney roads would wreck em quick... Don't get much change from 4k.
  14. Huh? Oh snap!!! I just got it I really gotta get this done lol.
  15. Yep, and a nice big power steering fluid stain on the ground from his ute lol. Well this arvo, temp fitted the turbos to line up piping, then bolted them up. Points to note; These GTX turbo's are not a bolt on turbo for RB26's. You need to buy the rear housings seperate. I chopped the intake snout and outlet to weld on stock piping, and got the flanges welded on the outlet pipes to bolt up to the twin turbo pipes.. Also port matched inlets to compressor housings, as they are 3inch inlets, and inlets are 2 inch on the stock pipes. Wastegate actuator mounting bracket holes need to spaced out more to bolt up to compressor housings. Oil and water lines on the CHRA don't have anywhere to bolt to the compressor housings (seemed fine without them). Oil drain pipes also needed the holes diegrinded.
  16. heh heh heh (in evil laugh!!)
  17. Yeah lucky you... Exhaust manifolds ported. Just have to let weather sort itself out as I have to work on it outside....suxs.
  18. Turbo timer?? Decided to work after not working?
  19. And no time to go out to pubs and clubs Paul!!! just put esky full of beer next to car and work!
  20. Fitted mine's cam oil baffles and then messed around with turbo piping.
  21. Nope. Stock cams and stock valves, new springs. light cleanup of the ports and that's it.
  22. Finished the cylinder head this morning, and it is ready to bolt up. I wish I had one of these machines!! makes fitting valve retainer collets so easy!
  23. If it's a 32GTR you can go from awd to rwd by fitting a switch or, while driving faster than 5-10km/h turning key to acc then back to ign. 4wd and abs lights will illuminate, and you will be in rwd, no abs. To reset, just come to a stop, and system will reset. 33 and 34GTR's have the awd preloaded so it's not reccomended to put into rwd unless front drive shaft is removed..
  24. I had to hurry things along a little. I gave him till the end of October to do. We don't mess around haha! Yep I'm happy I can finally start to put it back together again. The old bottom end does take up some room Bottom end is sealed finally. Just need the cylinder head and it'll be ready to fully assemble. Eric's crank locking tool he made worked a treat, getting a stubborn balancer bolt off. No damage to crank or keyways, so the balancer was definately tight Nissan navara came in handy!!
