Location : VIC - Glen Waverley Contact : JUSTIN - 0401 033 714 RB26 standard intake valves RB26 +.5mm oversized exhaust valves RB26 aftermarket wade cams (off the shelf grind) Intake 10.3mm lift Exhaust 9.4mm lift Can SMS pic of cam card. I really want to sell valves and cams as a package. Price $500 firm Garrett GT2560R -5's x2 (old school versions of the 2860 -5's) Minimal shaft play. Price $1200 firm All valves and cams have been cleaned up and ready to be dropped in. Turbos are in pretty good condition. I comfortably made 295rwkw with this set up. (Limited by my gay exhaust.) Could easily hit 320-350rwkw with proper supporting mods. Turbos were hardly thrashed because I kept loosing my license or going on the 12 month probation. Reason for selling is I'm upgrading to bigger and better. Any questions or pics SMS or call

Sell to that guy ^^ -
And what's the problem?
-
Maybe a carpet cleaner? Scrub at it then use the carpet cleaner to suck up the water

I painted the mini with a gravity fed spray gun and compressor at about 15-18psi. But I was told after I shouldn't have used it and for better results to use the electric ones. Im no professional but I think the mini came out ok. It's only the second car I've painted.
-
On the mini? Nope. The spray can plasti dip comes out a bit too rough. But still looks good.

Nismo Afm Won't Work On My R33 Gtr =(
GTR_NUTZ replied to andy95'R33GTR's topic in General Automotive Discussion
So even having a PFC, nismo afms are still not a plug and play? -
Yeah bird poop does eat paint. I know it gets pretty bad if its left on for a while especially on acrylic jobs or touch up paint. But as far as i know it's ok on the plasti dip. The woman parks underground at home/work so she hardly cops it. She says she uses the brush at the car wash too and it's never scratched/lifted or marked the paint work. Yet. I plan on pealing it off in a few months just to see how the factory paint is and also because she wants a colour change too
-
Yep that was me that done the Mini Cooper S. Matte black with blaze green rims. It's very easy to work with! It's the woman's car, she wanted to vynil wrap it but at the cost of wrapping it v.s the cost of dipping it we decided to dip the car. On the plus side of dip you can peal it off no worries (providing you do 4 or more coats) I have no I dea how easy it is to peal off vynil or what it does to your factory paint underneath. As far as cleaning/washing goes, you just wash as normal. The day after painting I washed it with a bucket of hot water and car wash stuff with a sponge and scrubbed at it and it didn't budge. I got the high pressure hose onto it too and got about a inch or two away from the nossle and it was fine. We drove to Sydney from Melbourne in it too a few days later. Got plenty of looks (I think it was the blaze green rims) and a few thumbs up. There was no stone chips just bugs! Lots of bugs!! The plasti dip drys as a rubber coating and so it's got a rubber texture to it and its got that feeling where you just want to pick at it. I seriously recommend it if you're on a budget. Or want a quick fix from paint fade or even do your whole car if you put a multi colored body kit on. I plan on dipping my bonnet/boot maybe roof on my 32R in the near future. I'm not usually on here much but if anyone wants advice or see a few progress pics of the mini just PM me your mobile number and ill SMS them to you. Cheers, JUSTIN.

Interesting machining pics -
Cheap fiberglass ones from justjap.com Or another website www.google.com

You might think its a dumb question but... Got fuel in the lines? Standard or aftermarket/hard intake piping? Majority of the time standard pipes have a tendency of popping off.

Does This Sound Like A Damaged Afm?
GTR_NUTZ replied to Everlong-S13's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
If its braking down and misfiring under boost/load at higher rpm then I'd say coil packs. If you're hearing a loud induction noise then maybe one of your FMIC pipes/hoses has popped off and leaking boost BUT still seals up when off boost. Might pay to re check and re tighten. And when you are cleaning your AFM I'd recommend a break cleaner or carbie cleaner in a spray (and one that comes with a straw nosil.) That shit dries to nothing and doesn't leave a oily residue like some 'parts washers' Good luck!! -
I re sprayed my car myself. To be honest it wasn't that hard. I never painted a car before. All you need is a clean somewhere to paint, compressor, air hose, and a spray gun. I've seen YouTube clips of using/painting with plasti dip and it looks pretty easy. You'll save a heap of money doing it yourself too. I recommend looking into doing it yourself.

De Greased My Engine Bay Now Car Won't Run Right
GTR_NUTZ replied to Turbsxr6's topic in General Maintenance
Did you let it drip dry for a while before starting? Maybe water in the air filter? Or alternator? -
Got done twice for loud exhaust. First time it was 90db on idle and 107db at 5000rmp. The muffler dude said he'd change it to a 2" from cat back and then wrote down 89db on the slip. I kept the new exhaust for future issues and to my luck it payed off a few months ago and I just swapped it back and got it tested but i told the muffler dude he made this one for me and passed it as 89db. The muffler dude then tested it, I was looking over his shoulder to see the db reading but he hid from me. Your check engine light won't come on with just a turn of your keys to accessories, it'll flicker a few times when you're driving it hard and something has gone kaput or warning you of something will go kaput soon. ie bad knock or afm max voltage....
-
If you're talking about the rubber boot that's cable tied to the shifter and sits around the gearbox to stop gear oil flicking out, that's a real SOB to get off. It's manageable. I've don't it a few times but with minor tears.

ASL?

I got the trust rear pods on my 32 GTR. I like them. They make the rear look a little more fatter. The GTST and type M rear pods will also fit. But look a little small and don't look that good with the wheel arch. (My opinion)
-
I'd love to come!!! But I don't think I'll be able to keep up. Just started my no demerrit point for 12 month probation thing.

Got a chitty 2 inch for a 32 GTR that might work. I use it for when i have to get the EPA cleared. Passed twice already.

32 Gtr Fitting N1 Bonnet/boot Lip
GTR_NUTZ replied to GTR_NUTZ's topic in Exterior & Interior Styling
If anyone in the future is curious, a shit load of sikaflex and the material duck-tape shit to hold it into place. The boot lip went on no worries. The bonnet lip one was a bit more frustrating. I tried using vice grips with masonite under the grips to protect the plastic lip. But that was a fail. Vice grips are too heavy and plus with the sikaflex it kept slipping off the bonnet. I used plastic spring loaded style vice grips and with help from another pair of hands taped the shit out of it to hold it in place. -

N1 bonnet lip already fitted or did you do it? If you did do it, how did you do it?
