  1. Hey mate. As above, importing is the only way you get what you want. Sure you take the chance of buying a lemon but if you're dealing with a reputable importer then you place all your trust in their hands to check and make sure it's up to scratch. If you're after a newer GTR then yeah you're paying more cause the K's are lower and well, its newer. I imported my '89 32 GTR about 6-7 years ago under the 'grey imports' rule or whatever it is (I think it's changed name and laws/rules since then.) I payed about $12.5k for my car. Stock as a rock. Importing fees was about another $4k. Then it had to be complied and brought to ADR, I was lucky to find someone that would be able to do it for me for just under $1k. Then it had to be registered, again another few hundred dollars. You can write down dodgy car value numbers to make the registration a bit cheaper.
  2. Very keen on the block and sump/diff. Condition of the block? Bore size?
  3. Was thinking lastnight if it's a voltage thing then just by cutting the power wire and putting a capacitor in there would fix that. The power fc then gets correct voltage 100% of the time.
  4. I was told by other skyline people that running other than OEM coil packs can cause the hiccup. But I don't think so... And another thing I've been told was that the power fc needs a constant voltage and if it drops below that then it causes the hiccup. But I can't confirm or deny any of that sh!t.
  5. Want to know as well. I tried a home made earthing kit still no luck.
  6. SLAKER on my GTR. Had it on 2 ford xf's before the GTR.
  7. R8TDR (rated R) on a 32 GTR
  8. Saw the d-jetro. If youre running no afm's or nismo afm's you're laughing. But stock afm's you'd be limited at 320ish

  11. HAHAHA i just done a search for my rego and it came up with this!!! 2 years ago?? WTF!
  12. Cheap Chinese crap but they work. Google autogauge / autometer they come with white then when you put your lights on they change to orange. (depending how you wire it up) Pretty certain you could pull it apart and put in any colour LED you want. Or if they are stock gauges, it's just a few globes that you change.
  13. Can't just cut and weld?
  14. Duno where you are from, but look up - total tools. I got adjustable ones.
  15. You could probably get away with a back yard job doing it your self. Depending on how much it leaks or if there is a massive hole causing it to leak. Bunnings sell SIKAFLEX. There are all different types. Indoor or out door use. Some are designed for marine applications, body kits even some for sealing windscreens.
  16. I think my alternator is kaput. Still got charge but the battery light comes on faintly, driving abouve 4k rpm it goes away. 32 GTR with the Mitsubishi 90 amp alternator. Anyone know a auto elect that will reco it or has reco ones??
  17. Probably isn't stollen so it'll make the chick ring up and then get her details and then go bust her with a stupid citizens arrest.
  18. Yep tony, like you suggested, PLAN B!! Still meet at the maccas on springvale rd and maroondah hwy for a 10am departure. Pull out your map.... Take maroondah hwy down to lilydale. Turn off towards seville/ yarra junction/ warburton then head up to buxton/ alexander

  21. Or be different and go the calsonic blue.
  22. Half agree with what nismo said. I think the '91 paint scheme looks a bit better. Solid red white and blue.
