  1. Hey whats the point to your post? Am I asking for jack_rb25 to explain what this is? what it looks like? I am asking for a picture to see the quality of this product. Research, research what. I know what it is, I know what I want. Assume, yep it's safe to assume every thing isn't it.
  2. show me a pic, i am interested!
  3. Totaly agree!
  4. Hey David, there on once a month on a wednesday night. Just tell your boss that once a month on a wednesday, or for a once off, you want to leave early. At least by 3pm. Take your shit with you to work and leave straight away. Get to calder by 7, drift your tyres to the rim. Leave calder at 10, be home asleep by 1:30. Just don't break your car. Too easy mate.. 5. her32, Pics would be great. btw above link to 32 info not working
  6. Predator, I haven't yet bought the fuel reg. Gtr injectors I think are definately the way to go. I am a bit worried about the gcg 450 for the exact reason of low end power, hence why i am going to run it on 16psi. Then there is the consequence of doing so. A 25det turbo is sounding more and more inviting as the day passes on. My car is not heavily modded or highly tuned so the 450 might not be too suitable for me? Like you say only one way to truly know..
  7. Hey I was a bit bored last night sitting at home sick. Playing around with "convertor" in applications (nokia) I found you can set your own conversions. I went to: 1) set conversion or configure 2) other (eg. currency, temperature) 3) add Title: power input name: horsepower output name: kilowatt factor: 0.7457 save. 1 hp = 0.7457 kw 1 kw = 1.345 hp Push up and down to swap hp - kw, kw - hp. If all went well you should have your own converter. Enjoy..
  8. Hey Cerealkiller, I'm getting the turbo for $850. Set the bloke back allegedly $2500 who im buying it off, comes with reciepts. I have seriously been considering the rb25 turbo. I have my car at the mechanics now, just got it towed this morning. Im getting the clutch done now wich should be 5 days or so. I have told him I will take this turbo, so If I decide not to, I'd better do it very quickly!
  9. Hey thanks. Yeah as I said above, I'm still running stock internals & gear except for my listed mods. I dont want to be in 'denile' about the possibility of my motor but you speak with differant people and you hear differant things. Obviously there is a big risk here. There are two ways to find out: 1) from someone who has done this or at least similiar to or, 2) the expensive way. Other wise known as the hard way. Am I been silly in taking the risk or is it worth it and relatively safe? I mean If I had the money I wouldn't be too concerned, trial and error. Unfortunately I don't! as most of us dont'. Some might say, "mate there is your answer" but thats not what I am asking.
  10. email sent today
  11. Hey Fellas/Girls, I am going off my nutt here just Quietly. I had a previous thread on a rb20 turbo upgrade asking what a good turbo replacement would be. I have decided to go with a 450 twin roller bearing. good for 550 hp. T4 compressor wheel, bored out, high flowed, rebuilt. My original concern was with stock: internals, gear box, etc. :uh-huh: While I do not plan on flogging my precious every time I get in, of course there is going to be the "odd occasion" If you know what I mean. Reason been, I have to run my car on 16psi to get decent result. Not to boot around every were but to reduce the lag. I have been assured that with a stock motor on 16 psi I will be ok?? My mechanic advised I get a fuel regulator, due to r32 gts-t injectors been as small as they are. I thought ok why not only $150. Speaking with som one else, I have been told I will fu_k my motor, mainly the pistons. I am now really in two minds about what to do. Infact you could say i am completely  I blew my stock turbo with a dumpy about 2 weeks ago, And clutch was starting to slip. I am getting a brass button custom built this week. Current mods: hybrid i/c, exhaust from cat, electronic boost controller, as end of this week a brass button clutch, bigger fuel pump, a few small other goodies. Has anyone had personal experience with what I am about to adventure into? Would you suggest I don't go this turbo, and why? Have any constructive comments? I am really starting to stress a bit here! Any help or comments would much appreciated. Cheers.
  12. Dude, get the Hoff off my car!
  13. Big cheers to : skyline gt-t r34 pau, goon, twoquik. They look fu_king awsome! But I would agree Paris does spoil the car. Feel free any one else to have a crack.. Thanks again.
  14. Yeah, same sort of crap over and over, The amount of commondores and falcon's I get cruising past, ( Auto's too mind you, with 10" tachos and massive commodore and falcon stickers, so the idiots don't forget wich car is theres when the go back to the carpark.) that sit and stare then proceed to rev the hell out of there motors in nutural can only make me laugh. Ever so sweet leaving them in a cloud of burnt rubber, then as you back off when reached the speed limit, they fly past all pissed off. Not putting sh_t on our friendly aussie cars, but don't you find the majority of wankers drive them?
  15. Thanks Goon, Im not fussed, diff' rims and size, body kits, graphics, Paris hilton draped over the bonnet etc... Thanks, 32brother.
