  1. high pressure garden hose will help clean it... why do u need new piping.. if u are getting new piping, may aswell get a bigger FMIC
  2. sounds like aftermarket turbo to me.. but you should still hit boost the same in each gear unless the NEO ecu is a bitch.. or its been chipped...
  3. i thought nismo would do better than that... oh well.. still a cool feature none the less just modify it.. cut the pipe OFF after the valve.. so its straight to atmo then the fun begins.
  4. hitting friend with spanner sounds like a good idea. all GTT's come with factory LSD. sometimes HICAS on GTTs can make it seem that it has an LSD because how easily the back kicks out. try full lock to the right when pointing up a hill and just plant it, 1 wheel burn out = no lsd, 2 wheel burnout = more fun... plus LSD.
  5. ive driven about 10-15 r34 gtts, and i have not heard one whistle.. just giving my input nfi if thats a good or bad thing.. maybe its so u can woof whistle at girls without having to be louder than your exhaust or sound system edit: bad grandma.... grammar

  9. its the whole thing of having the quiet/loud option.. thats the only reason why i wouldnt want to get rid of it. i plan on making the flap compatible with my new 3.5" exhaust. also if u get xforce, i think it doesnt come with a dump pipe, only front pipe etc.. could be wrong .. if im right, atleast u could make preperations to spend on dump pipe.
  10. my r34 im buying has this exhaust, im going to keep the flap, but upgrade to aftermarket 3.5" within 1st 3 weeks of owning the car hopefully. but this 34 nizmo exhaust is alot better than the standard gtt exhaust
  11. nismo pack??? ive only seen the speedo im thinking some sort of aftermarket gauges but ill prob rip out all the electronic stuff and throw in nice generic gauges which do the job and are more accurate.
  12. thats something i never thought of satanic, but its something i definatly would like to know, either way im sure it isnt tooo hard to run your own vacc hose through if you wanted, or just swap the wires from one gauge to the other.
  13. just wanting to confirm if the R34 GTT stock boost gauge is mech or electronic. also, what are the other 2 gauges in the middle, from memory i think one is Voltage? and the dash has oil pressure? thanks!
  14. dude.. if u have a TT and u fill up... u park, WAIT for it to turn off.. then pop the cap and fill up.. dont be fkn stupid. also, if u are filling up for petrol, its probably cause your LOW, so u shouldnt drive on boost anyway. (towards the petrol station) so if ur TT goes on, should only be for 20-30 seconds.
  15. jsut a suggestion about the exhaust control, get one for your waste gate too they still let air through, but even if the cop gets u to rev for a test.. it might just help keep it abit more hush hush

  17. ferrari also have V8.... but it does sound like a v8.. its just the tuning and the exhaust.
  18. sound similar yes, if its turbo u hear the turbo spool which alters the sound of the engine quite abit, but if u have an ear for it you can still tell its a skyline but no WRX have the distinctive noise because its a boxer engine.
  19. $2000 ECU + tuning and install $1500 Turbo Parts + install (high comp, low boost) (turbo,manifolds,bov, injectors, etc) $1200 full catless exhaust, straight thru 3" $800 Front mount (including custom piping) $300 cold air intake ^^ whats so rip off about that.
  20. just have it full open @ 4k.. closed below that, manual override for hoon + track times.
  21. drools... well atm i have air filter + exhaust @ 110dba when @ full throttle. soon to be turbo @ 200+rwkw.
  22. yer it would have been silly dan to take it back even tho i know how much u must have loved it. Atm im talking to Dr Drift. and i think im going to work out a package through him. he thinks for 6-7k he might be able to get like 8psi and around 230rwkw with still sheet loads of response.. which is awesome.. although out of that money, works out $63 per kw.. lol.. but hey.. who cares. Nm are good too
  23. thanks for back up all i need to know is it will last 1 year or 2.. by then i could afford a rebuild or gtr engine. i've also had people suggest some N/A tuning or a HKS 2835 turbo. just hard for me to figure out if i want response or higher power with the lag
  24. thanks for the off topic NA R33.. its just too fkn much for a half cut...id just have a standard turbo engine in for $7000.. and even still would be stock.. i just want a turbo in the car, and an answer to my question, or if u have any N/A tuning ideas of what i could be pulling for an addition 6-7k in my car.. would be useful.
