  1. Resolved, no wire interuption is required, just plug in appropriate spots along with existing cables and BANG BANG away =)
  2. Ok guys R34, i have the jap manual, i know which colours are which.. but IMHO u cant just splice into each wire, one wire has to interupt the signal.. I need to know which wire/s i use to interupt which ECU pin. ill post pictures to help. The manual: Wires i have to work with: Ecu Pinout: also one is for the handbrake.. havent figured that out yet, im guessing its white based on what ive read around.. I've been warned of the dangers of using these, but im stupid and going to ignore all warnings =) sooner i get this installed, sooner you get vids of Bang bang =D

  4. after talking to a mate, apparently RB's have a bleed valve somewhere near the intake mani? (plz confirm) which u need to open to get all the air out... i have no idea where this is or what it looks like (i know what an intake manifold is though!) if anyone knows or can pics me.. would be HUUUUUUGEly appreciated.

  6. thanks james. yeh the temp cluster moves up towards high.. but in my 3 years of owning it until this issue happen'd i had never seen it go past half way. I have always ran coolant in the system, however since the issue im just throwing water in until i can fix these stupid gremlins. Can you just throw me a basic reason/s as to why it could be headgasket related?.. just cant make sense from it.
  7. radiator seems to hold pressure no problems.. its only when the car is getting damn hot im getting steam outta the overflow hose.. at which point i know its too hot.. if it is the radiator it'd have to be a DAMN tiny hole.. cause i dont see any steam ever coming out of it itself, nor water i can get water through the radiator no problems with just pouring water in the top pipe, it comes straight out the bottom pipe of the radiator.. imho it also wouldnt explain why i dont get water coming out of my top radiator hose =( ill still doublecheck + swap the radiator tonite.
  8. Hey guys.. couldnt find the tech help section.. so i figured this would be the best spot.. kinda.. I have an R34 GTT, recently i thought my water pump had died on me as i was getting no water flow through the top radiator hose, the top hose would be hot, the bottom hose would be cold. So i took out the thermostat all together and tried again.. yet again no water flow.. so i got a hose stuck it in the bottom hose, water comes out the top no problem, vica versa still OK. Swapped the water pump + thermostat on the weekend to an Rb30 item + Nismo thermostat, while at it i swapped my rad hoses to Silicon items aswell.. (mate told me my factory water pump still looked OK, it only had the slightest play in it, blades all ok) Now by no means am I a mechanic, so i could be missing the most BASIC thing in the world. I've filled it up.. and yet again it seems like no flow. I idle the car for about 10 minutes and you can feel the pressure building in the hoses (as normal.. kinda..) and then the rad cap opens up to let the boiling water out of the overflow hose.. obviously at this point i turn the car off and let it cool down.. PLEEEEASE help me.. so confused and have no idea or reason i can think of as to why its overheating SO easily. Also, if anyone knows, does ALL the water from the engine HAVE to pass through the turbo water lines, mine look abit small (Apexi turbo swap) and if it has to all go through the turbo i think that could POSSIBLY be the issue..

Haltech's are bringing out new Ecu's specifically for the R33 + R34's but they will be a few months, i dont know too much beyond that.. but i was talking to hitman about getting a 2000 and he said might be better to wait it out.. which i need to do anyway.. still gotta buy injectors etc.. so just buying all the goodies first, ecu last.
  10. just drive like a 10 year old would and see how you go.. sometimes u just gotta throw it and go (just ensure u got run off room + braking room just in case!!) small changes take too long for results, mix it up
  11. dis the gates timing belt.. waste of $300 + there.. just get urself a standard nissan OEM timing belt for $100.. gate belts squeek n stretch anyway.. n the blue rubs off...

  13. Id buy this car because its a cool/fast car, if it came in manual over flappy paddle, id buy it.. its just who I am. If i wanted to buy a fun car, id buy a thrasher.. i love no abs, no traction control, old school manual, no airbags, rwd its that direct contact with the road you feel when you do a fast run in this little 'shitter' which puts such a smile on your face. But if i wanted to push the limits, get the fastest time, go hardcore and push my adrenalin to the limit, i'd be driving a R35 flappy paddle.

  16. when you guys are talkin about it fowling the waste gate do you mean THIS ONE: OR THIS ONE: OR THIS ONE: Cause im after just a split dump pipe so i can get some better exhaust flowage. (or all) and for my power range i dont think i need a full 3" removing the wastegate gasses from the stock 2.5" piping should free up enough flow as im only finding loss in power just before redline, however still sustaining maximum torque

  19. Figured out my 'boost' source wasnt boost for my wastegate actuator, hence issues with hitting full boost + maintaining. So im after a spot that i DONT need to weld a nipple onto near the factory wastegate. just trying to find anything in that area i can plug it into to test my actuator
  20. so the process would be resin+ 1 layer, let it dry, apply more resin + 2nd layer, let it dry (then coats as normal after)?

Hey guys, as I've mentioned previously, Ive fixed up my beast and due to excessive bills, she has to go Car: R34 GTT I am the first aussie owner since import through Cosmopolitan Cars @ Paramatta. Will come with 12 months rego RB25DET 102,000kms. - Full 100km service 30kms ago. (all oils, diff+gbox) Mods: Apexi AX5370 (400hp Ball bearing) turbo - good for 250rwkw), Custom Turbo oil+water lines made (Put on less than 30kms ago) Apexi Air filter Brand new splitfire coilpacks - just installed HSD Coilovers + 2" Lowered kingsprings FMIC 6 Point takata harness 8000k HID Bride Zeta III (super low) - black (Factory seats also provided) Front suspension rack fully rebuilt + serviced aftermarket Lower control arms,castor arms, tie rods, tie rod ends etc etc. Nismo Factory bodykit - Rear wing removed, but comes with All factory parts I have lying around 17x8+17x9 Rims. (Rear tyres 99%, fronts 70%) This car is my baby and weapon, Im sad to see her go. Things you may want to do: ECU+Injectors+Fuel pump will see 250rwkw, sounds soft but you will have INSANE ammount of touque + response. (approx 600nm of torque) Last dyno the car had with the stock turbo it produced 200rwkw. This turbo should be able to produce about 220rwkw with the stock fuelpump+ injectors NEAR max, but with a heckload more response and torque over the stock turbo This is an insane car, which was built purely for being able to drive mon-fri, everyday but still have a huge poke when you give it some. $19,990+12 Months rego $18,990, No Rego. -Willing to negotiate.
