  1. very true abo bob/sk i think its part of teh look which makes it fun though.. plus i love the excuse of not letting people grab rides 'sorry seats are taken' about the 2530 turbo.. thats 230KW.. is that engine figures or rear wheels?
  2. i can tell you your right.. ive been on them...
  3. Thats VERY hard to do unless you drive with no headlights on. (and if ur in NSW) OK so so far we can agree: 1) STOCK INTERCOOLER 2) STOCK/HI-FLOW TURBO 3)CARBON TAILSHAFT 4)LIGHTWEIGHT FLY WHEEL 5)CLUTCH SYSTEM - fan or whatever 6)LIGHT WEIGHT RIMS 7)INTERIOR 8)DIFF 9)ECU /TUNING 10)CAM GEARS have i left anything out?
  4. Hey, basically im happy to UP the power figure, but not at the sacrifice of response. (to an extent) I havent spent anything YET. Im organising my funds and getting quotes. All i want is something that when i put my foot down, the car goes forward rather than wheel spins, i dont want to wait 5 seconds for the turbo to kick in. I want a response/torque machine that will wreak havoc through the hills in the early hours. (i wish i could make a 2 engin'd R34.. but budget doesnt allow.. that would be fun though)
  5. very useful and helpful quote. fine im using it as a reliable track car... who gives.
  6. Not saying ill spend 15k, unless its worth it
  7. i like my small intercooler, but never had aftermarket to notice lag differences. ill keep the aircon in until end of summer.
  8. not so legal mountain driving.
  9. ok, so say for EG, i want response of a stock turbo, and dont need huge power. What would u suggest to get my engine to rev faster? say rather than anything else. Goal : to make engine rev like a fkn ferrari, fast response, response + rev budget : $15000.
  10. havent yet sky 34, just working towards it. Rear of boot + rear seats/ rear interior are gone. rear speakers are gone, passenger door internal pannels are gone, glove box is gone. So would anything like cams/cam shafts help response? If i did get a hi-flo, i wouldnt want too much that would increase lag. ATM im more wanting to work on engine response throughout the rev range. Gear ratio/diff ratio sounds awesome too. i think what i want is the engine to rev faster, even if in neutral. i'd like to work on the engine to learn more. love to rev from idle-7/8k in 1 second... mmmmm F1 response.. u know what i mean.. i hope. thanks for the other suggestions, open to more. will be looking at that thread as suggested.
  11. a not so legal one.
  12. Hey guys/girls....there maybe one... anyway. My ER34 is off the road for 3 months..along with my driving habits (guess why *cough*), Im wanting to make my engine alot more revvy (not so much past 7/8k) buy more from idle - redline speed. Im already working on Lightweight flywheel + Carbon tailshaft + lightweight rims, and general weight removal throughout the car. Just want to know engine wise, what can I do to make my engine rev alot faster. My goal is 220RWKW, with as much reponse, torque etc i can get out of it. Its for the touge, the touge, the touge. So my biggest enemy is turbo lag. I already have: (although barely any of this is to do with engine response/revs) 3" Exhaust, Bride bucket seat, Carbon bonnet, coils.
  13. yer.. biggest pain is that ive gotta get it towed there.. $$$$ i hate being broke, thanks for your honest feed back though
  14. Err mechanical wise my = big big n00b. short story: Went touge and hit a wall, instead of pannels being damaged, i had full opposite lock on which meant the rim/tyre hit the wall damaging the front right suspension. Power steering = leaking Left susp = fine (points directly forward with the wheel in its norm position, but the right tyre points inward (making it bitch of a time to get home @ 30kmph) basically nothing looks TOO damaged underneith from what i can see. All i want to do is adjust the right hand side tyre to face straight again. not sure if this is a steering arm with a nut on it, even though it has thread which would (i think) bring the wheel back into alignment, it doesnt seem to move up the thread (probably got distroyed =\) (may help *shrugs*)PICS: http://members.iinet.net.au/~atplhelp/sniped/damage/

  22. meh.. not worried, its void anyway.
  23. hey guys, i have a R34 GTT and im runnin 255/40/17 on the rear, they are down to legal limit of grip left.. either way, what PSI should i use to get most grip on the touge in the dry until i can replace the tyres. its just 1 final run i need to make. also if its damp, suggestions?
