  1. as done, and works AWESOME. full boost is now by 2400, even after lift off... before it was 3.5-4k for full boost (stock as a rock btw) the response and power is jaw droppingly different.
  2. last dyno showd AF was very rich, even when on stock...
  3. so countersinking a screw into the return pipe (which goes back to turbo/intercooler piping i presume should only be blocked off, wont this effectively make it an atmo bov? i just want flutterz
  4. agree with the Apexi.
  5. i loved my 25GT when i had it went hard. I'd just honestly buy a 25gt.. its cheaper and easier to find + buy.
  6. watch out for the radars tonite.
  7. i put boost to 11psi, doesnt happen anymore.. no farken idea. it almost sounds like a rev limiter so it might pop every .3 seconds under the hard acceleration, then just stops. power seems to die for the .3 seconds, or whatever, boost holds. either way, problem gone for the moment.
  8. ok, so more of something i can still drive with.. but nothing that needs imediate attention.. tis good cause i have no money
  9. my search came up with lots of topics on how to remove, but not if its bad for engine/turbo etc. my R34 GTT is on 10psi with stock turbo, just recently under heavy acceleration it seems to missfire asif traction control is on (which it isnt) and i get lovely pop pop pop pop noise (while accelerating) towards redline, happens occasionally not consistantly.. could this be the R&R i've heard so much about? but why havent I had this issue before today?....
  10. errrr... what from a dealer? or personal import... i'd recommend u search before u = flamed.
  11. not quite 100% serious on my last comment there...either way ill try it for 3-4 months, then go back.. see which i prefer.
  12. sooner my turbo dies.. sooner i have reason to upgrade..
  13. last time i take friends advice for 'removing a bov' my poor turbo so if i do something like this (as i understand it from your post) will remove bov physically and car will run 12 psi with no leakage ? not shown in the pic, i'd also have to block the original hose from the throttle body/intake area thingie ?
  14. any reason i get MUCH better response during gear changes and QUICK short lift offs with my current setup than stock? cause it takes time for compressed air to vent..
  15. my car flutters though.. so i thought it was blocked.. whats the best way to do it then
  16. Hey guys/girls (pfft) ... anyways I have an R34 GTT and when i block my BOV i get a maximum of 5psi, and it takes longer to build unless its a light LIFT-OFF. (which is why i wanted to remove it, better response). But i want my full 10-12psi (stock turbo). I've blocked my lines from the bov, and the boost controller im using is a Turbosmart dual-stage (amazing, never had 1 spike issue with it) anyway, i just want my full boost without my BOV in use. help
  17. well im in Syd and im up for one. and i have R34 gtt
  18. is it counted if u put a R34 turbo on a R32.....its both stock
  19. i hit mine with a hammer, ripped it off... easy fix.. then jsut re-solder the wires if need be
  20. ill play for either side, im on both forums.
  21. i was shitting myself thinking.......wet road, turbo..... p plater.....heavy traffic = please dont crash... (and i didnt)
  22. this is my R34... http://members.iinet.net.au/~atplhelp/sniped/DSC_0233.JPG i live in lower blue mountains. so penrith/panthers/st marys is easy $50 for ride there, HOT girls accepted as payment, you pay for any defects i get on my way there
  23. thats fast.
  24. i sold my R34 25gt (no idea what the diff is between ur's and mine) and bought a GTT couldnt be happier, cept i miss the N/A punch/responsiveness @ top end sometimes
  25. just wondering, i could be wrong why are twin turbo systems generally split with 3 cyl to each, rather than 6 going through 1 turbo 1st, then that gas going into the second turbo? i mean in my book its doable... and would mean u could run bigger turbos with half the ammount of lag, or half the lag of existing turbos.. Air comes out of all 6 cyl, enters turbo 1, turning compressor 1, exits turbo 1, enters turbo 2, turning compressor 2, exits into exhaust. oh wait i think i figured it out........waste gate..... but couldnt u basically remove the 1st turbos waste gate and the second one's wastegate regulate the flow?
