I just called. I'm a Rating 1 - 25 years old. 93 GTS-t no mods $2000 flat and they asked if had experience with a turbo car. What are other 25 year olds getting with with rating 1 and the same car?

Just got back from doing 300K's down to gippsland to do the Christmas trip. I'm more confidant thats it leaking boost. If the turbo spools up it sound like air is just leaking out someware. Some boost still makes it through but heaps less powerfull! A real shame because my brother has a 02 HSV clubsport with 255 KW and i wanted to drag him! I reckon i would win because his car is an auto.

The car has lost heaps of power today and i have been ringing around getting prices. If ii does happens to be the turbo is it better to buy a new one, buy second-hand or get mine reconditioned (high flowed whilst they are at it!)

Hi guys & girls, edit : My car R33 gtst and under load (5K rpm +) makes a high squealing noise like high pressure air flow kinda like a big truck turbo. I have have three diffrent opinons from 3 workshops today. opinion 1. it's nothing don't worry about it. opinion 2. Could be turbo could be faulty catalytic converter need to pull it apart to see opinion 3. It's your turbo (snicker snicker that will cost ya) Has anybody experienced this before and what did you do? If it is the turbo can anybody recommend a place in melbourne to get mine rebuilt? Cheers.

Guys and gals i have a late '93 r33 gts-t. On the weekend driving home when i put my foot down you could really hear the turbo spool up more than usual. I am right to think that maybe the waste gate hose has come off the turbo? Can it damage my turbo and how do i fix it. If it doesnt damage the turbo i might leave it because it sounds pretty cool. Car is completely stock with 60K on the clock. Thanks
