  1. Holy f*cking crap. Get this man into Targa Tas, stat! Better still, assuming it may well be the first Targa-style race for the R35 GT-R anywhere in the world, Nissan Japan should sign the kid up as a works driver. Again, holy f*cking crap. Balls of steel.
  2. His is black, and also has a sticker - I've cornered the Legnum market in Adelaide lol
  3. There are 3 blue Legnums with ICI stickers getting around Adelaide
  4. In Australia, it's spelt "Mum", not "Mom" lol
  5. Massive congrats to Jones if he has indeed won it. Not bad for a 23 year old, fark me. But give me that Lambo - I think I just had an eargasm...
  6. You get what you pay for...
  7. Sorry but this had to be done lol
  8. Congrats mate - make sure you get some pics up, when you're not actually driving it lol
  9. I would get angry at you, but apparently at my age, getting angry makes my hair fall out lol
  10. I'm old enough to remember when multi-trips didn't exist, nor the machines you put them in lol
  11. Here's another tip - change your username, or next time they have a cruise everyone will think you're the one organising it Kietz, you really are a dick sometimes - so people who pay their own way when getting their first car have parents who don't love them as much, or failed because they're not rich? Maybe some parents actually showed more responsibility and taught their kids to respect the money they earnt by making them save for their own car, rather than teaching their kids to expect everything in life to be handed to them on a platter?? My parents chose that option, even though they could easily have paid for it - and I'm enormously grateful they did.
  12. Grave digger
  13. R34 GT-R V Spec 2 N1, one of less than 20 built apparently. Nuff said
  14. I've met most of you tarts at All Japan Day I think, or bought cars for you - stuffed if I can remember usernames and stuff though lol
  15. It's V36 (the 37 refers to engine size), and a workshop in WA already has one as a test car now, not sure how far off they are with getting plates, but it's in the works
  16. I don't think the guys from Regency frequent this forum, but if they do, I love them too lol
  17. I'd just like to state, for the record, that I hold the guys at DoTaRS in extremely high regard - two big thumbs up from me guys
  18. Plenty of nice ones getting around still, thankfully cheaper than what I paid for mine... Customers will be treated to a viewing of me driving off into the distance
  19. I'm not sure to be honest - I know it's normally removed, but with the stereo put back in, I don't know if it was put back in with it. Note it has no rear wiper or fog lights in that rear shot. Factory power was a "very good" 206kW I think one was later tested with 214kW at the wheels...
  20. I'll come to an SAU cruise, no probs, but won't be for a fair while yet. There was the option with the V-Spec IIs of putting a stereo back into it which has happened in mine, but I think it's a single CD unit, possibly with no radio, because I know the aerial has been removed.
  21. lol I have a daily driver with air con that works perfectly I doubt that, even with air con, the N1 would be the kind of car I'd be taking out for a thrash on a 40 degree day...
  22. I did promise a while back that I'd be getting a 34 GT-R, and I'm still pinching myself that I've actually bought this one. 2001 R34 V Spec II N1 with 24,000km on the clock. For the V-Spec N1, it was a well-publicised fact that only 45 were built, and that the vast majority of those went straight to the track rather than being street registered. My GT-R guru mate reckons that the number of street registered examples left is probably somewhere around 15. Here's where it gets interesting, Nissan also built an N1 version of the V-Spec II, but it was on special order from selected dealers only, and they were built in very small runs of 5 at a time. His educated guess was that there were only 20 built, and of those, race cars outnumbered street cars by 2 or 3 to 1. Believe it or not, of these, there are actually 2 V Spec II N1s already in Australia! Both of them are fairly heavily modified and being used for Targa Tas and similar events. In fact, one of them won Targa Tas a few years back. And now, there is a third in Oz It hopefully arrive somewhere around Christmas time, just in time for me to enjoy it through summer with no air con lol I seriously can't believe the lack of info on the net about N1s - I'm gonna start a register so people can keep track of them all, as well as provide more info on them. Anyway, a couple of teaser pics for you all to have a look at Can you guess I'm a little bit excited?? lol
  23. They are not classic cars YET. Last I checked they're getting older every day. Check any limited edition version of a sports car that is more than 15 years old and check the prices, because they don't drop. Google the price of pristine V-Spec II R32s and you'll see what I mean. The earliest R34 GT-Rs are already nearly 10 years old, and like I said before, many jumped up to the R35, but a fair number also chose to move from base model GT-Rs across to Nurs because they know what will be worth more in years to come. If prices continue to drop here, all well and good - I'll sell them back to Japan...
  24. lol I think I can rest easy that the market price of R34 GT-Rs won't be having much of an effect on my car
  25. Seriously, I don't know what's more stupid - you trying what you did with the cops, or coming on a public forum and bragging about it.
