  1. Yeah it was very sad to hear. I know who it was but I'm not sure it's public yet. Didn't take long for the do-gooders to sink the boot in either...
  2. Yes I am, I know of one workshop who expects to have them through pretty soon, but I'm not sure they're going to be sharing with us brokers for a little while...
  3. Video fail - sorry, HESLO has set it to friends of friends, will sort it out tonight. Add me or him if you want to watch it in the meantime.
  4. http://www.facebook....v/4140907135262 A few things to note: 1) we never did any recce runs, so this was our first time on the course...we took it a little gently as we'd been warned about the spoon drains...also explains my stuffed corner lol 2) second time around Heslo switched off his phone and enjoyed the ride, much quicker on lap 2 3) our time was 3:24 for the two laps, for reference compared to the competition guys... http://www.rallyresults.com.au/targa/sta2012/mobile/showStaget.asp?paramval4=0&paramval1=11&paramVal3=0&rVal=1940&oa=1
  5. ^^^I concur Paul that Nur today had genuine kms, but it was a bit of a dog condition-wise...
  6. No-one has plates for them mate, sorry.
  7. GOOD Nurs attract top dollar with collectors in Japan, there are a few shit ones getting around here too Bodes well for us N1 owners though
  8. An interesting slice of Skyline history, for sure...
  9. Some history on the car... http://www.skylife4ever.com/2011/01/r34-gt-r-in-scca-world-challenge.html
  10. One of the 12 original ones sent straight to the track Who's got deep pockets?? http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/NISSAN-GTR-R34-N1-BUILT-RACECAR-IN-SUPER-TAIKYU-SERIES-1-0F-12-SKYLINES-/320963763756?pt=Race_Cars_Not_Street_Legal_&hash=item4abaee5e2c
  11. lol there was never a 40th Anniversary R34 built...tell him to take those badges off and sell them though, as they're probably worth a fair bit...
  12. I'd be very keen to see it!!
  13. Wow!! That's a LOT of effort!
  14. Start here: http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/topic/280439-r34-gt-four-rb26-time-attack-build/page__pid__4731376#entry4731376
  15. The M is sold as a V8 in the US, but not for the RHD markets like us - pity because it's a sexy car. The FX50 looks awesome in the metal too, would love to drop one a few inches and put a nice set of rims on it.
  16. Early V36 sedans are 350GTs Terry. 17,000km lol
  17. The Autech GTR sedans run a BCNR33 (Kai) chassis code, not ENR33. They weren't like the Autech 260RS Stageas that ran the same chassis code as the regular wagons. Saying that an Autech GTR sedan is a dressed up ENR33 sedan is no different to saying an BNR34 GTR is a dressed up ENR34 coupe - they're completely different cars. Autech did the work because Nissan couldn't justify modifying their production line to do the rear guards or the rear seats in GTR trim, I imagine all the rest would have been done at the factory - it's just a different combo of factory parts for Nissan. Like I said earlier, if anyone wants one, I can make it happen. I've had a couple of workshops say they reckon they could get one complied using a combo of evidence from the R33 GTR coupe and the R33 sedan.
  18. Taken at a Skyline festival a couple of weeks ago:
  19. Add to that the fact that US is actually a whole lot stricter on allowing cars to be imported there in the first place. Ask any US car nut how much they'd like an R34 GT-R...
  20. Your situation sucks but legally, you don't have a leg to stand on. See what the lawyers say, but buying from auctions is ALWAYS caveat emptor. You're probably lucky you got what you did out of the previous owner.
  21. Good work Serge, give me a yell when you're over and I'll come and get a pic of the two of them together
