  2. Almost 1.9million FOB for a 1996 though....
  3. Do you know what the funny thing was, a guy saw some dodgy bugger advertising my car for $13K, then managed to track me down and bought it for $30K
  4. Get on your msn STAGEN!! lol
  5. Does nothing for me whatsoever - got the same headlights on my Territory...
  6. 6-7 Stageas in Adelaide!! Jeez, I must be living under a rock! The only one I've seen here getting around is the green one with the white rims on it. Aside from that, a couple in car yards. Anyway, the offer's there if you want to import. Just PM me.
  7. Or you could just email them at the address supplied on the webpage, and get them to mail it to you direct. Mr. STAGEN, still searching for that rear panel setup!!
  8. http://search1.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/search...cale=0jp&mode=1 It's a search through Yahoo parts for Stagea C34 in Japanese, and displaying all pics. I hope it works ok for you, if not let me know, but there's lots off goodies in there!! Cheers Kristian
  9. BTW, G, you can get eyelids for 2500 yen from yahoo auctions, if you need them. I can throw them in the next car that comes over. http://page4.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/d56012483
  10. Agreed BLO1 - the change in prices depending on time of year only really applies if you're buying a Toyota Crown or some other Yakuza staff car. Skylines are expensive all year round - in fact R33s are as expensive now as they were back when I was a buyer in 2000.
  11. Best and most popular is Kiwi Car Carriers. http://www.kiwicar.com/
  12. Well in Australia, they'd as rare as rocking horse shit, if that helps. Not sure if that makes them worth more though
  13. GGGRRRRRR!!!! Compliancers!!!! GRRRRRRRR!!!! Just wanted that noted
  14. 15. It took me a good thirty seconds to remember where I'd seen them, but they're off a later model Cedric/Gloria Gran Turismo, mid 90s.
  16. You know would've been the first to help you out, G-man Looking forward to seeing what you think.
  17. If the car is listed as being eligible under SEVS, then it's possible. Even if you owned both cars for more than 12 months, you can only personally import one car a year, so you're chances are looking pretty slim, even for a death in the family.
  18. harryg, another tip - be quicker on your gearchanges... Mine does it a fair bit too, expecially when the exhaust is good and hot. My car was complianced under SEVS, and therefore has a new cat - given how well it flows with the cat-back above 5000rpm, I'd be curious to know how "high-flow" that cat really is!
  19. Seeing you're new to this, I'll let you down gently - IT'S A SCAM. When I tried to sell a previous car, a guy asked for my details and those of the car, then posted ads all over the place pretending to be me... Here is an excerpt from an email he sent to other people, telling them the car was in Italy... Hello, I'm happy to see your interest in buying this car, yet, I believe you should know that for now i'm in Rome, Italy with the car, which is in a very good condition. I hope you like the car and also that we will complete this deal without any problems. About the transport, I'll have it shipped out to your location. What do you think? Let me tell you that the price i ask for this Galant is 13000 AUD, the car is in perfect condition and with the car you will receive also the clear title, which can be registered on your name, so there is no problem about that. The car doesn't need any conversion because is AUS steet legal; it meets all regulations so you won't have to pay aditional taxes. It wasn't involved in an accident or anything like that, it's as new. You won't find a scratch on it, the paint looks great; I've garaged this baby. The reason why I want to sell this car is that I realised that the import and register taxes are very high here in Italy so I prefer to sell it and buy another car. It is AUS street legal, so I can't find a buyer hare in Italy ,or in Europe because they don't like the car prepared this way. I love this car and I'm very sorry that I have to sell it. The car is registered in AUS and the other offers that I have are also from AUS and I hope that I can find a serious buyer. Thanks, Kristian. Don't touch it with a barge pole
  20. ...and a lot less paperwork (unless it's an '88 or earlier model).
  21. Links - why is that statement naive?? Are you suggesting sewid's car is really good or that he got ripped off?? Anyone can post on a forum - maybe I should start a thread on how many customers have ripped me off. I have one in particular who, a few years ago, stung me for over $10,000 because he refused to pay for the car, and because he had the import approval, refused to let the car be released off the wharf, meaning I had to ship it back to Japan. In the end, it's only one side of the story. Of course he can find a car in Australia, but there are plenty of people who look at, and even drive cars here, that end up getting ripped off too. Buying locally is a preferred option, but it's not the only one. If he can't find what he's after, there's no reason not to import one if he uses a good broker.
  22. The car must be stock for compliance, that's all I'm saying. As for kms, it is plenty different here to overseas. There are still plenty of good low km cars getting around over there. But what would I know - I only used to actually work at the auctions in Japan... Like anywhere, you get what you pay for - a $30K GT-R with 76,000km is probably going to be wound back, a $35K one probably isn't. I'd be interested to know how many of these people offering advice have actually imported through brokers before, or whether they're basing their information on what they read in here, which usually only gives one side of the story...
  23. Basic answers are... Problems...no more than importing any other car Mods...generally not a problem but need to be removed for compliance, you will get to keep them KMs...without seeing the car, you won't be able to tell, but there are plenty getting around with that number of genuine kms. Who to get them from...there are at least half a dozen people on here who will help you import a car, me being one of them. I haven't dealt directly with J-Spec so can't comment, but I know they are legit with their prices. Dual airbags....yes they did.
  24. http://www.motortraders.net/imports/home.asp An excellent site for getting specs...
  25. Sorry those instructions make my brain hurt - can someone plug in ECR33-112529 please??
