  1. How could you?! I have one on my site!! Traitor!!
  2. Nope, with personal imports, the valuation is what it is.
  3. Yeah but bro, you're forgetting that a JDM R35 is....JDM.
  4. They're striking everywhere at the moment, yes things have been delayed.
  5. Might make me more money than the Japanese ones at the moment...
  6. An epic win for product placement - this is on an RC drift car in Italy!!
  7. lol it seems I have a Stagea owner customer (not sure who it was) who decided to have a run with a Commodore on the weekend in front of an unmarked cop car. When he was pulled over, he tried to tell the officer that the boost controller and turbo timer were in it when it was complied and imported from Japan. Whoever it was, next time you try it on, perhaps pick an officer that doesn't already know me before you start fibbing...the Iron Chef stickers on your car saved your arse this time, but they won't next time...
  8. In order: Perfect Shit Shit Shit Barely passable
  9. You need to up your limit - the only 20s you're gonna get for that money are Bob Jane pieces of shit. Keep an eye on Import Monster and snag some cheap through Yahoo Auctions. 19s are fine for your purposes too
  10. Yeah mine does it too when it's cold. I'm hoping a fluid change might lessen it a bit... PS Cube owners/lovers, feel free to join up with Australia's Cube forum - www.cubism.net.au
  11. Go drive one and see for yourself! Like I said, also drive a Legnum/Galant, they're everywhere in NZ and they're a much quicker car than a B4.
  12. Not to mention that if you want a wagon they're very rare, only available as personal imports. And yes, the lag before the change to the big turbo is pretty woeful. The Legnum, performance wise, is a much nicer car to live with.
  13. If you're coming back permanently with the car, then there's no restriction on when you sell it.
  14. Come on SOME of you must like Toyotas!
  15. Dude if you're asking that question on a Skyline forum, I think you've already worked out the answer for yourself
  16. Slooooow - allow another 5-6 months...
  17. Iron Chef Imports: creating damp beds since 1999...
  18. Mine loads heaps fast - that's what happens when you build a site on a Commodore 64...
  19. Well the judge agreed with me last time I took them on, let's hope we get the same one
  20. Are you sitting down? Apparently a 2-door version of a 4-door vehicle counts as a separate model, but this is a 3-door version of a 5-door model. Of course, this didn't stop them already approving the EP3 Civic Type R, the N15 Pulsar etc etc...
  21. Not sure how recent that website is, but there's no-one listed on the RAWS site as having plates to do Escort or Sierra/Sapphire... Edit: you beat me to it Nigel... PS: My Focus RS application has been officially knocked back by DoTaRS under SEVS, so it looks like I have to take one for the team and take them on in court...should be fun!
  22. Haha you're showing your age Richard, I thought exactly the same thing!
  23. 2003 Toyota Mark II iR-V series 2 manual, my daily in Adelaide - $32,000 1JZ-GTE 2.5 litre turbo six cylinder 5 speed manual (converted from auto) 46,000km Obsidian black Xenon headlights Ear-bleeding Pioneer Carrozzeria stereo with boot-mounted sub 19” Advan Model T5s in shadow chrome TEIN coilovers Factory option tail light lenses Factory option wood/leather steering wheel Factory parking assist Electronic throttle controller Blitz exhaust Aftermarket intake Aftermarket front grille Aftermarket alarm Auction grade 4.5BB when I bought it Nothing to spend on it, inside or out *sigh* I've already been made an offer on this but the bloke is still 4 weeks away and I need some cash in the bank sooner than that for my next project, although I can tell you it will be a Toyota. This has been my daily for the last few months and is still (to the best of my knowledge) the only black one in the country. It actually goes surprisingly hard, quicker than my JZX100 by a fair margin. Note that, because of emissions, we can only get 110s up to 2004, so buying a series 2 is pretty tricky, especially with this combo. If you have any questions, feel free to ask. 24. Josh, seriously, I don't know if you're trolling or been living under a rock, but rest assured, I've imported more than 10 cars in the last month... Either way, importing a stack of cars doesn't necessarily make someone better at it - I know one company in Sydney who has brought in thousands of cars and I wouldn't buy a car off them in a million years.
