  1. It's a hard cover book rather than a brochure
  2. If they know where the car was complied, then they can ask the workshop for the de-reg paper - it will have the kms listed for the last couple of times it was registered in Japan. Either that or they can spend the money, import one themselves, and know that the kms are legit. A high-km GT-R is not a wallet-friendly proposition - $37,500 might seem like a bargain now, but it's not if he has to do an engine rebuild, clutch, gearbox and HICAS in the first six months of ownership...
  3. 50,000km my arse - ask him for proof that the kms are legit.
  4. I do - I'm the one judging it
  5. Poor old Mikhail has to wait for his pics, because it would've cost a bundle in transport to move it where we could get pics in Japan, so once it lands we'll get some good ones for him
  6. He might've, but the poor buggers in the bus didn't....
  7. Like Chris said, the Rukus is based on the Corolla Rumion, not the proper bB, which is a good deal smaller. I'm struggling with the first-gen bB application because boxy profile was one of the criteria I used to get it through - they knocked it back now the Rukus has been released...
  8. While I agree with you in some aspects, I have plenty of customers who come to me prepared to spend more than what cars are fetching locally - some people want to know their kms are legit, some are looking for a specific car that they can't find locally, and others just prefer importing something themselves.
  9. SOLD, but not by me...I'll fill you in on where it went as soon as I know.
  10. I'm starting to wonder whether, due to the popularity of my reacharounds, I should start charging for them - I think there might be potential to make good money.
  11. Well whoever got it was a very lucky person - it has nothing to do with mine though
  12. That's pretty gangsta though! Ditch those rims, but otherwise me rikey...
  13. All that money and he still can't spell his name right...
  14. No. To be honest, I don't think it's worth bringing it in as a personal import, and if you can't afford to ship it back home, you won't be able to afford to get it complied under SEVS. Sell it and buy a different car here.
  15. Hang on, aren't you....
  16. lol all good mate - yeah it would've been a nice car if it weren't for those rails!
  17. Chevy badges perhaps?
  18. http://www.infrastructure.gov.au/roads/vehicle_regulation/bulletin/importing_vehicles/general/EligibilityCriteria_2.aspx#seven That is your best option, but you won't be able to sell it here, you'd need to take it back to HK when you leave. If you take this option, you won't need to change tyres or anything else on the car to import it, although minor mods may need to be made for it to be roadworthy.
  19. Awesome! I thought that motor felt strong! I'm still regretting selling it! lol

  20. Hi guys, I thought some of you might be interested in this one. It was a lovely grade 4B RS Four V with a legit 67,000km that was later found to have rust in the chassis rails (they rusted from the inside out! Very weird). It was rejected at compliance and a second car (a grade 4BB RX-Four Impul version with genuine 59,000km) was brought in and the interior was switched over to the new car, with the beige interior put back into the first car. So what's left is still effectively a whole car, minus the front bar and the centre console, with sunroofs, xenons, 18" Impul rims, etc etc. It drives fine, so it can go interstate on a truck without any hassle. As you can see from the pics, both interior and exterior are in very good condition. It's selling as a whole, so no asking for individual parts! $6K for the whole thing, the car is currently in Melbourne. Shoot me a PM if you're keen.
