  1. I'm thinking 8.5 and 9.5 should do the trick, as long as I get offsets right.
  2. Yeah it's going to be a daily so not too crazy on the lowering (already learnt the folly of that with the Cube) and not planning to use the SSRs, just getting 19s and be done with it.
  3. Hi guys, I'm sniffing around the idea of getting a PM35 for a few months as an interim family car for a while... Looking at 19s for one, and presuming staggered widths won't be an issue for 2WD, correct? I'm not scared of rolling guards, so hit me with some good offsets for 19x8.5 and 9.5s... (Got some SSR MS1s in 20x9.5 and 10.5 in the shed but that may be a touch ambitious....)
  4. Stick with Wynn Vale/Golden Grove/Greenwith and you'll be fine. What's more HESLO will be around the corner, so you can drive past his house and watch him getting changed in his front room...apparently
  5. Same with pre-89, you can bring back as many as you like, all good
  6. Search for "East Bear" on here, plenty of info floating around
  7. Not sure how to embed that shit, but it launched fine here
  8. Actually what I wrote isn't right - it's more that it doesn't like being slipped by me, which I have to do to get it out my driveway.
  9. My only complaints are it's a bit rattly on idle in neutral (clutch out) because of the flywheel, and slips a bit when cold, aside from that it's brilliant, very light to use and bites hard on high RPM take-offs...
  10. Good work mate, see you there.
  11. ^^^what he said Mostly spends time at Mallala, it'll be back again on a trade plate no doubt...
  12. Spotted...and denied lol
  13. Because if a cop sees you boot it away from a set of lights to 60km/h and wants to pull you over for street racing, it's going to be your word against his. Like I said, being told you're guilty until you prove you're innocent changes the whole dynamic. And just because you guys don't feel the need to run (and I don't either) doesn't mean that, in that split second, someone else won't make the wrong choice knowing their car is going to be impounded and they're going to lose their licence for 12 months if they stop.
  14. It is, but it doesn't stop people turning up on the day wanting to get in. In the end, we're trying to raise money for charity, so we make the call on the day as to whether or not it's worthy, then say hi or bye accordingly. But the same people are doing it every year, and it's getting annoying, hence the decision to charge more and try and discourage people from working outside the processes we've put in place.
  15. ***IMPORTANT NOTICE*** - in past years, people have wanted to pay on the day, and in fact some people have just turned up on the day hoping they can enter too. This creates MASSIVE headaches for us with paperwork (and causes traffic jams while we try and sort everything out). IF YOU WANT/NEED TO ENTER/PAY ON THE DAY, THE COST WILL BE $25. Just giving you fair warning so you don't argue the toss on the day.
  16. There are still Crocs stores in Japan too, Matt
  17. Hi Khai, if you live in NSW, there are ways. PM me.
  18. Sorry to bang on about this, but this is what happens when the punishments are ridiculously harsh (and assume guilt before proving innocence). Expect more in the future.
  19. Bill, it's worth also noting that the exchange rate is now at levels not seen since pre-GFC. Cars are getting cheaper once again (and finally!). In terms of what to look for specific to Evos, check for rust, particularly under the rear of the car (Mitsubishis are notorious for it), accident repairs, wear and tear on the clutch (budget for a new one straight away), and look at the interior trim on the side bolster of the driver's seat (wear/holes) and door trims (comes loose).
  20. Meeting at Tea Tree Plaza near McDonald's at 2pm SHARP for those who want to cruise down together, but we need to be at the funeral parlour: https://maps.google.com.au/maps?q=blackwell+funerals+prospect+road&hl=en&ll=-34.88579,138.593903&spn=0.083643,0.184364&sll=-34.885816,138.593973&sspn=0.000933,0.00144&t=h&hq=blackwell+funerals&hnear=Prospect+Rd,+South+Australia&z=13&layer=c&cbll=-34.889219,138.59421&panoid=QpgQE5Q-YvyhJXi4atDXkA&cbp=12,118.56,,0,0 By 2:30pm to arrange the cars out the front. The funeral service is a very small affair, so we're going to drive off (quietly!) once the service has begun. Thanks to all of you able to help. Any dramas, my number is 0402 904 069 if you need to call.
  21. ROFL at the gap in just the right spot...
