Hey guys, looking at purchasing a V35 sedan in the next couple of months and was wondering if anybody had problems getting a hold of parts such as front windscreen and side windows if something gets smashed or something like headlights and taillights? are they readily available or do you have to wait for them to come from japan?

I have this exact problem but it is the ignition module, when the car warms up (20 - 30mins of driving) the 5th cylinder will drop and start to sound like a WRX as mentioned before, also before it drops the cylinder going around corners it will hesitate. I know its the module because when the cylinder drops, if I press really hard on the module itself it will start firing again. Initially I thought it was the wiring & the the plugs so I replaced them, but after playing around a bit more I realised it was the module. It is a bloody reconditioned module to, cost me $450. I just bought a module from Japan, fingers crossed this one works.

Mine is finally registered after dicking round with engineers and blue slip stations. Now I just have to sort out all the bugs!! But I am keen for a cruise whenever.

Will an R31/VL keep up with my RB20, it has around 165rwkw? or do I bite the bullet and go a 044? Naturally I want to get out of this as cheap as possible.

I am pretty sure the fuel pump is shagged, it couldn't keep up with the RB20. But I'll check it on Monday. Fuse box and relays, name your price.

Hey people I have just finished putting a RB20 in my R30 Coupe and am in the middle of sorting out some wiring bugs. The engine fires up and runs, everything (as far as I can tell) is wired up fine, but I was having a beer with my mechanic the other day and hooked up his diagnostic machine and I am getting the 2 error codes below. 21 - Ignition Signal Primary 54 - AT Communication Line Error 21 - My mechanic said this might be just a slight drop in voltage on startup, or it is hooked up to the wrong relay, but I am not sure. Has anyone had a similar problem? Error 54 - This I believe is just the signal from the auto gearbox and as I have a manual then it is understandable why it is there. But will this give me any problems, I have read on this forum and others varying accounts of running auto ECU's with a manual box, some people say they have massive problems and some say that it is fine? Is there any way to fix it?

I have finally finished pulling all the bits I need of my sedan and thought I would put it up here to see if anybody needs anything. It is a HR30 sedan lux pack (electric windows, central etc.) that did have a L20ET, then a RB20DET, now nothing. It doesn't have gearbox, dash cluster, dash switches, front door trims have been raped. Only has standard Aus spec suspension and rims for rolling around, and as you can see from the pics the body is in pretty bad shape, but their still is some good electronics in it and most of the little parts that are hard to get. If you need anything drop me a pm and I will see if it still in there. It will be gone in the next 2 weeks though so be quick!

I will take the combination switch if it still works, plus any other switches hazards, rear wipers etc.

And by the way do you realise that you have supercheap auto hubcaps on your extremely rare skyline? Or are they the wheels it came with from factory?
