  1. he means z32 air flow meter........... bigger
  2. correct me if im wrong here but im pretty sure the sub frame on the gtr/ gtst4 is different to the gtst anyway to accomadate the front drive shafts so your need to do a cut and weld job, not advisable stick with the rear wheel drive as you car looks nice and clean so i understand you wanting to keep it
  3. sorry but thats just not nice, for anyone including us get a aftermarket oil press gauge if you havnt got one already the nissan ones are a bit iffy, id be pulling it down and checking the oil pump, start there, the bearings etc, check oil galleries, pain in the ass i know but its better than farkin it more if that is indeed whats happening
  4. as said luck of the draw, in my old 180 rb20det i punished it, wouldnt do it knowing what i know now, but it had a ca18det cooler, (thinner than std r32) and was running 1 bar for just over the year that i had it and i thrashed that thing every day, then sold it to a mate and it kept on living until he wrote it off
  5. and +1 for banning saabs, i dont care for what reason just get them out of aus, another thing ive noticed about this thread is im pretty sure everyone is focusing on the black tint, i reckon the crystal blue tint would look hot as on my black 34 and im pretty sure the cops wouldnt even think twice about any of the colours apart from the black one
  6. ok im preparing to get flamed, i saw one of the new commo ute's in the morpheous purple that had black tinted head lights, pretty sure the ones he had were illegal cause they were black, but it looked hot. but then again guys how many fkn tools do you see that are driving around at night without realising, "oh i havnt turned my lights on yet" and yes coppers will prob hassle you for it until they learn about it
  7. yeh you'd think that ay but i wouldnt be surprised at all if i bought a car and it was on empty lol, common courtecy (cant spell) unfortunatly isnt so common anymore
  8. why? motul has a very good name, give a reason dont just throw it out there
  9. if you have no luck in the end and you can do this without damaging the wheen bash a socket onto then just to get them off then buy some more that you will have the key for, cause your gunna be pretty stuffed with a car that you cant take the wheels off
  10. i can understand where the shop would come from if they said this but id be pretty shitty as well if my wheels werent balanced properly for a track day, if they are balanced spot on then no matter what speed you do it shouldnt vibrate, but then again im like that, other guys at work get them nearly right and say yeh she'll be ok but i take pride in my work so i get them spot on, on the other hand tho its a real pain in the ass to balance wheels when the customer doesnt want weights to be visible on the outside of the wheel like with a pair of gtc's
  11. thats good news, i want to make mine legal all the way, then no hassles, i think you should be able to get an r34gtt with 26/30 to conform to emmisions, i guess it depends on the guy tuning it
  12. im pretty sure the master cyl is pretty cheap genuine, close 100 bucks, not sure about the slave tho
  13. yeh i would have thought with a 2way in the front of the gtr it would understeer, i'm pretty sure its common practice to have a 1 way in the front, but yeh i dont think you can convert them, just have to buy the right center
  14. your only spose to fill it up to the filler hole on the side of the gear box, if you must fill it throught the shifter then have the filler hole open and when it starts comming out of that hole then it full, if i was at home id look up the specs in a workshop manual for you but im not home for a few weeks
  15. I wouldnt recomend the castrol oil, ive got a nizmo 2 way and had the castrol stuff in there, wasnt to bad but later on i changed to penrite 90 weight stuff and it it heaps smoother, still clunks and stuff but i dont mind that might be different to the kaaz ones, seems like you guys are all using a much heavier oil
  16. thought id add in you can go use an auto comp to run a manual but you cant use a manual comp to run an auto, as t04 said it relays the tps signal for the auto box to change gears down when you floor it
  17. not much to say but lol rofl and lol again, gtrevomitsunissan drivers are fine in my books lol again
  18. apply and see how you go, im pretty sure they wont knock you back for one low range drink driving offence, might be another case if you were a repeat repeat (<-- not a typo) offender and got done dui whilst you were disqualified, seriously so many people in aus get done for dui its not funny
  19. agreed go with the genuine item if you want he best results, and as said before, id rather support the guys who actually put some work into it rather than the guys who just copy it
  20. good to see someone tells the truth no matter if they are right or wrong in the first place, i know i am re iterating but so many (performance guru's) will fight to the end to be right even if they are not, ive got a question tho, ive got a pair of high flowed gtr turbo's sitting at home that are spose to have steel wheels, but a magnet wont attach to the rear wheels, a workshop owner told me once that the magnet will not stick because of carbon build up, what do you guys think?
  21. I never heard of toprpm before i read this thread, but then again i dont go to bling shows, its a fair call he's just trying to look out for other members cause there are dodgy people who try to scam forum users
  22. so the shop who built the engine aren't at fault, did you use someone to tune it? thats a pain in the ass my condolences
  23. yeh i think they get less anal the more north you go up the east cost lol.
  24. amen to that at least she didnt drve off. or couldnt ....... another thing is people have started running red lights more in that area saw 4 people run red lights whilst driving from parra westfeild to auburn and back sorry gota add this in. is it cause its not a gtr then it doesnt really matter im sure the guy wh ownes it loves it just as much as you love your gtr
  25. its a pain that it locked up, i had a crown wheel bolt come loose and evacuate throught the hat on parra road, just had it rebuild, towed car home ripped it out and the dude that put the 2way in fixed it up, hope it as simple for you, dont stress about the drive shaft moving over and stuffing your suspension, id say the the movement would have been taken up by the uni joints.
