  1. I reckon you'd get heaps of people wanted to buy from you, everyone needs to get some kind of fittings made up sometime when changing things
  2. go the rb30 bottom end, you gotta replace the bottom end anyway and the extra stuff to change wouldn't be a huge amount extra, just dont get tempted to go full house otherwise you do spend heaps
  3. can anyone tell me where to get an exaust butterfly controler, not one of the cannons with the controller in it but the flange type with a throttle plate in it? thanks
  4. just do it properly and get a panel beater to weld them up and paint it.
  5. Ive got a nismo 2 way, bought it 2nd hand so dun know exactly what model, but i think its fine on the street, chirps, clunks sometimes but its awsome when you put your foot down
  6. whats really lucky is that they flew into a truck not a car with a family in it.
  7. I know of someone who reckons they got up to 305kmph in an r33 gtr, i think the gear ratio's would be similar between gtst and gtr
  8. phew, thanks i just saw a picture of the inside of a 33 door and saw the bars there and i remembered somone said to me that they dont come with side impact bars and they need to be added for compliance, wasnt sure if it was the same case for the 34 or even the 33 for that matter
  9. is it a real problem if i dont have side impact bars welded into the door, kinda stupid question. anyway just after some advise on what i should do? and why my car doesnt have them, btw its an r34gtt
  10. ive seen a set of pistons where all 6 of them had cracks bid and small around the skirts that had developed from the cut out for the oil squirters, mayby these were rb25 pistons that had been modified to fit a 26, i dont know i only saw the results after the engine had gone bang
  11. it may not be the exaust thats leaking, if the power has dropped off id be looking more toward the turbo gasket's, like the ones before the turbo
  12. wow this thread has been revived from like 3years ago, just thought id add in i ran 1 bar in my old rb20, full exaust, ca18det side mount (rb20 in a 180) and i didnt treat it very nice somtimes and it held up, so i think its just luck, but yeh if you dont want to test your luck then stay below 10psi
  13. Item: nismo gauges Age: 1 year Condition: clean Price: 300 To Fit: (What car) R33 Location: Syd Contact: PM

  16. not really but it helped me i was going to make a post to see where there is someone around hat area to do mine so thanks
  17. yeh the day went off, cant remember how much time we got in the cars, didnt really think about it but we got enough time in them. most of the people learnt a thing or 2 which was good and everyone had a big smile the whole day, worth it imo
  18. 1 reason for removing them is if you were to rebuild the engine with forgies, with the new pistons you have to take a chunk out of the skirt so they dont foul, ive seen forged pistons come out of an rb26 and the skirts had cracked where the chunk waqqs taken out to accomidate the oil squirters
  19. TOOTHPASTE, works really well used that on my headlights and now the front of my car is minty fresh, should try mouth wash as coolant
