  1. im not really a fan of them-my 2c and yeh not a fan of the led lights, look cheap i dunno mayby its just me lol there are some on the 34 that look pretty cool tho, kind of like crystal lights, not typical led style
  2. cool thanks, hehe i actually saved the pic in your avatar a while ago so i could zoom in to see what was going on . thats the way i want to run mine, so yours has been fine no problems with it? btw looks fkin neat
  3. the return would be back into the block where it is standard, so yeh same as with the 25, what i was wondering is if its possible to just run the system without the part of the line that goes around the front of the engine?
  4. can you go to another guy, and also is this guy an old or young guy just out of curiosity?
  5. thats farked, id be seriously pissed if that happened to me, its just wasting your farkin time, like at least an hour of it if you have to drive somwhere else, then what if your car passes, they've just wasted your time, what if you had somwhere important you had to be.
  6. pic number 2 is the way i wanted to run mine, so that i dont need to have the extra lines running around the front of the engine
  7. yeh with the 26 there is a coolant line that runs around from the back around the exaust side and back to the front of the engine that both the turbo's feed of, I've seen some conversions where they havnt connected back to the front of the engine and was wondering if they did somthing else or just ran the feed from the rear outlet to the turbo and then return back to the block. the reason i thought that standard they connect back to the front of the engine was so that both turbo's got the same amount of coolant, kind of like a balance. there are some pics of what i mean in this tread http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Rb...nt-t169610.html but the thread didnt really get many reply's about whether you can get rid of the front part of the line or not.
  8. i might go for a quick drive down there in my fiances car and have a look, see whats happening
  9. yeh man sounds a bit wierd, should have a site for them or a contact number listed for them on the letter, id be scared to, call them up an ask why they sent it to yuo cause you own a barrina lol.
  10. ive found that every s and r series turbo car has the reinforcement inside the intake pipr, its not a steel tube if that what your looking for, its just a spring that winds itself arount the intake pipe
  11. thats so bad that they can just pull you up in another suburb and get you to follow them there, what if you had to be somewhere, i mean fair enough if you drive past and they pull you in, or pull you over on the road and defect you or sumtin. are they allowed to pull you up and just say follow me through a few suburbs so we can look at your car, sounds like harrasment or somthing
  12. i guess just go to workshops that have a good record, its hell dodgy that he refused to show you the turbo after he said the wheel had come off
  13. im in the process of building an engine and am kind of stumped on what kind of cooler to use, going to be using a 26/30 with to4z, didnt really want to go spending heaps on a jap brand cooler if i dont need to, was looking at pwr but then stumbled across the kkr ones from otomoto, their cores are pretty thick (127mm) as opposed to pwr that are around 76mm i think. anyway just wondering what other peoples experiances were with coolers that are making pretty decent power, any feedback would be appreciated
  14. yeh should start a sticky listing hot spots for them, brightons another place ive heard about, main reason why i havnt gone there with my car at night lol
  15. why would it cost to have a PFC installed anyway, should just cost money for the tune, and pulling the turbo's of a gtr is a big job in itself considering you never asked for it, hope you get what your after in the end
  16. anyone willing to share with me how they did the water for their single turbo with 26 heads please
  17. $400 huh, its not as bad as i though it might be then, didn know for sure just speculating
  18. funny you said that about holdens, mate of mine had to get his car cleared at an rta kinda place in that area, might be the same place, got a v8 ute thats a bit of a shit box, exaust is nearly rusted through and leaky exaust gaskets through out and he said the guy skimmed over it and pased him right away but there was a guy with a honda there that looked like he wa getting reemed where abouts was the epa station you got done at, i know harry's pie's in woolamaloo (cant spell) is a known hot stop for them
  19. yeh epa are the ones you gotta be scared of, engineer's cert can staisfy cops but epa are somthing else, lucky for me ive never delt with them but ive heard some horror stories like your one
  20. taking the head off isnt as hard as it looks, just remember where everything goes and make sure when you put it back on use new head bolts (they stretch) and use a torque wrench so you get the right torque, otherwise you might have problems with your head gasket later on downt he track.
  21. not a 100% sure but the purpose of the balance pipe on a v8 is to balance the back pressure between the two banks, so its not needed on a turbo car as the turbo's create the back pressue for the engine, not the exaust but the system looks good, id just chuck a muffler on each side, should quiten it down a bit
  22. yeh i was gunna say that, too many teeth out an you could have had xtremely serious trouble
  23. yeh you guys get it pretty easy up there from what ive heard, lucky .........'s
  24. sorry didnt realize, i should probably brush up on the rules, tell us the story though
  25. hate breakin down in traffic, happened to me once in peak hour in my old pulsar, fkin imobilser kicked in at a set of lights on pac highway only installed 2 weeks before that, thanks strath car radio! hope you get it sorted easy
