  1. Bullshit.
  2. 265x690x18. yokohama slicks Taken off the Nissan poster to celebrate the 1990/91/92 ATCC wins. Mind you , the info re. hp and torque is wrong so don't take it as gospel. Cheers Ken
  3. Far out Dan, you been trolling for the oldest post record?? That is 2 1/2 years old.. Cheers Ken PS , it ain't anything like that now, we looked at the car for a customer 2 weeks ago.
  4. Thanks for the plug Bam Da Man but that is for a 180sx or R32. The box alone for an R33 GTS-T is around $1300-$1500 plus all the parts so the conversion would be closer to the $3-$3.5K depending on clutch. Cheers Ken
  5. Err..no, not unless you pull the box off to get to the bolts inside the bellhousing.. Cheers Ken
  6. We have a brand new one at a killer price as someone reneged on it. Ring Monday and will check if it is suitable for you, depending on drivers and dwell boards required. Cheers Ken
  7. Done em all in my time( except dragging, but who cares ) Rallying, as in gravel rallying , especially on non pacenoted events is by far the scariest, most dangerous and most adrenalin of them all bar none. Driving flat out over crests at night with the car set to slide one way or the other depending on which way the road goes and in a 4wd turbo car is something to experience... The knowledge that the tree about 1m to the left or right is NOT going to move if hit just adds to the thrill Pace noted rallying is next as you have only seen the road twice before but you tend to push harder. Targa Tasmania which combines the elements of rallying( unknown roads, surface changes etc) with black track is right up there as well. Racing is next as the skill is required but the road gives you no surprises plus there is barriers/safety officials close by. Drifting is fun but as there is no real speed involved plus in the correct enviroment( ie. not on the street) is safe as. Cheers Ken
  8. Speshal on this forum has the ex Gotboost R32 with RB26 in. Does 11.6 ish down the 1/4 and he wants more than that for it but hey, you can only ask. Cheers Ken
  9. Jezza, I don't think I have seen any of my GTR's get to 50% and even with the HKS torque split controller, they don't get there in mine. Not saying they won't but maybe I am not brutal enough Virtually all the GTR's ( once again) I have had also spin the rear tyres somewhat during cornering as the reaction/action of the computer and fliud is not instantaneous. Mind you, it's is more fun than rex understeer.. Cheers Ken
  10. Bwahahaha, your on a Skyline forum and asking that? hehe R34 as it is newer, better response and handling, greater ability for HP upgrade and there lots of go fast avaliable for a reasonable price. Porsche has light switch power delivery and light switch handling on the limit, expensive for go fast parts and limited shops to work on them. Aircon in them is only so so and they all are getting a bit long in the tooth. To get a 4wd 996 style one to compare apples with apples will cost about twice what a R34 GTR is worth. Spend the same money on the GTR and the Porsche guys won't see you for dust and small stones.. Cheers Ken
  11. BTW Mikey, you are a member..not a memeber
  12. Ohhh shit.......
  13. Yorik, nice avatar..hmmm..love those tits. Anyway, AJ is a competent tuner on Power FC but so are we. We have the datalogit software ( mostly) to tune it and do a few cars for the Karratha mob on behalf of D Konig. We have a reasonable reputation on them and PNBlight will attest to the HP we attained for him out of his. Cheers Ken
  14. Stuart, ring me or email me. I have one for sale and it's the same as the one you were asking about, but cheaper. Cryptic I know, but contact me.. Cheers Ken
  15. Mikey, Mikey, Mikey.... You were told months ago to replace the pump ande stay off the boost juice:) Now it's fixed, I hope the previous damage caused doesn't shit the engine. Dragging/drifting it while pinging is not the smartest move... Cheers Ken
  16. Jeremy, what are you chasing exactly?? A normal attessa is more than capable of providing the driving ability /handling required. As mentioned, a torque split controller will provide the adjustment required for the spirited driving phase when required. As far as using a pro? I think it is only V Spec vs normal and in the R34 GTR, you would need to be VERY switched on to pick the difference, especially for street application. Cheers Ken
  17. Simon, tricky to set up I believe and what is wrong with the normal power fc? Pete has good hp and excellent driveability with the normal one using Z32 afm's. I would suggest that if you want the no AFM route , use Autronic, or heaven forbid..wolf. Just be prepared to pay for the tuning on the latter... Cheers Ken ( now wearing flame suit)
  18. Actually sexzilla, upon reflection, I take offence to that post... I don't often arc up but that is such a broad sweeping statement it requires an answer. If you are saying that SST is the only shop that provides service, then why have they closed?? And PSI, Hyperdrive, X Speed, Speedworks, Barry dyno, Cypher Industries, Ovaboost, CMP, Wheelspin,Supertec, EvoR and a few I can't remember/don't know are all useless and only chasing the money or beer. So you have been to them all and made a value judgement as to there capability/drink worthiness?? Pull your ****in head in... Ken
  19. This will sound lame after all the wondrous advice previously given but we can tune your microtech. Failing that , Mick at Ovaboost is very good and has some quick Nissans on the product. Cheers Ken
  20. Hmmm, what are you after?? We can give you any power figure you want, but that is not the point. Run out of shootout and we can gain HP without touching the car........ As Teejay rightfully explains, it is a tuning tool and what counts is the times around the track/down the strip. It is amazing the cars that have huge HP numbers that don't equate to 1/4 mile top speed results. As said on numerous other threads, stick with the same dyno that is repeatable and do a series of mods you have discussed with your tuner/mechanic. Cheers Ken
  21. Harsh
  22. Very hard to find a bog stock one, most have at least a 3in cat back. Our experiences have found 220-240rwhp to be about the mark for stock or near as dammit to stock so would suggest yours is pretty close. Why would you keep it stock anyway?...hehe Cheers Ken
  23. MLcrisis. if it was at Cannington Greyhounds rear carpark or Belmont next to the gokarts then yes, was probably me. 6 days a week , 8 hrs a day for 3 years in that skid car can send you a little stir crazy though.. Cheers Ken
  24. Guppy..done. But you know that cos you came in to hear it running Cheers Ken
  25. Agreed Jeff, a dyno is not required but it is just another tool we use to get to the problem faster and more accurately. Hell, you could diagnose cars with a dwell gauge and timing light, but we all have better equipment than that. Most shops have diagnostic scanners, gas analysers, hoists etc as it makes the diagnosis and repair quicker and cheaper. We just happen to have a dyno as well. We also have 3 people here who can tune your car on the dyno if wanted and yes, I also agree that having a dyno doesn't necessarily make you a tuning master. Cheers Ken
