  1. Steve, pretty sure they fit, just the CAS is the drama. Get onto PNBlight ( peter Blight ) on this forum. He is from Bunbury WA and fitted a pair in his R33 GTR I believe. Cheers Ken
  2. Drift, is Cannington Auto wholesale Frank Benoshuto( spelling?) Cheers ken
  3. Dan, well don't come into our shop then. The bayside blue R34GTR we bought in the East for one of our customers is in here atm . Cheers Ken
  4. You would need the R34 CAS as well because the dog tooth configuration is different. Cheers Ken
  5. Ocean, relax, calm blue ocean man. R32 N1 pumps are over $320 ea brand new R33 N1 pumps are about $120 brand new. R33 will fit R32 with very small modification. I would suggest you may have to revise price... Cheers Ken
  6. Have stayed out of the SST shitfight as much as possible and glad it has been resolved, maybe not to the satisfaction of some but at least SST, or whatever it will be called can move on. To Steve, good luck and I do mean that sincerely as we have known each other for a long time and it was a shame we came to loggerheads at the end. I wish you and Sharon all the best in your new venture the same as I wish Anthony and Fabs all the best in theres. As far as the mods go, this has been one of the most bitter times I have ever seen on this or any forum and I am amazed at the amount of vindictive posts that were thrown( not posted and thought about) on this forum over the last few weeks.. I feel sorry for Steve and Ant that it came to that as both are good people who I have a lot of respect for. The mods did a very good job in my opinion to quell what was a series of posts/innuendos and downright hate which surfaced on this forum at unbelievably strange times of the day and night. I see no reason to change the order and it would have been a VERY hard decision to edit/delete/modify posts without seeming to favour one side or the other. Take this post as you will people, I am considered to be an opposition shop and as such should have been happy to see SST copping it but believe me, it almost bought a tear to my eye to see the way they were degraded on a public forum. Every shop has it's problems , it's just SST were a fair bit more public in both there actions, words and responses which gave a lot of the net wannabes plenty of ammo... Once again, I reiterate , the mods did a good job in a very harsh time for SAUWA and to that I applaude them.. Dan, I was in SDU btw as well... And also to add to the original reason behind this thread..Tee Jay( sounds like a black rapper.lol), I forgive you , you bad boy!!hehe Cheers Ken

  8. Was looking for posts on Steve SST 's nic and now he is known as N I B?? Is this something the mods have done or Steve? What's going on Steve? Cheers Ken
  9. amazing what $4 million aus will get... But, hey good on him if you can and best of luck to him. Hopefully he will be a better success than our last great white hope but I can only *guest* that.hehe Shame they juggled the whole ARC calender around so he could do the World Production Cup and now he isn't... Cheers Ken
  10. Sounds good but read the rules re. posting a price. As Prank would say, this is not an auction... Cheers Ken
  11. Rickhead, why didn't you ask on the forum for one? Every GTR front cut has one and as you said, haven't seen one fail yet. I have one in the back shed that $100 would have bought it( just to make you feel worse:) ) Cheers Ken
  12. We have had a few 89 GTR's coming throught the workshop and have found that engine problems are one of the issues. Anything from inconsistent compression readings, fast and erratic idle due to air leaks and noisy top end. Not all, but more than you would like considering that the repair cost may be as much as 1/2 the original purchase cost. Fading paint, split driveshaft boots and rooted clutches are the other dramas. What people fail to realise is that these cars have probably been through 3 or 4 hands in Japan with each owner( usually younger as it gets cheaper) testing the limits of the drivetrain.Servicing is poor and not very consistent and the RB26 GTR engine is a race based one which needs regular servicing with quality products. Having said that rev210 has an Oz spec 91 model GTR which has 220,000km on the clock but has been REGULARLY serviced and the engine is in bloody good nick. Take that as a sign that there can be good high km ones around but beware... Cheers Ken
  13. Boosy monkey?, sorry i have been flat out at work and the sil80 is off the road atm getting new manifold/exhaust/teins/radiator Hope to get it going for Mid January if you can wait that long. Stereo bam?? what are they??hehe Cheers ken
  14. HKS ones don't have 0-100, there is always some drive to the front when it's on. Cheers Ken
  15. Is this kit still avaliable, have a buyer waiting if can get some more info Cheers ken
  16. Except maybe pwptpf cos he deserves it If ya really good boost monkey ( wtf??) I will take you for a squirt in the Sil80 cos I live in Ballajura and work in Malaga. Ask the forum what the sil80 is or better yet, check the latest Drift Battle 4 magazine.hehe Cheers Ken
  17. No major difference, just the shape of the water pump on the timing cover is slightly different between early/mid R32 blocks and R33 blocks. CAREFULLY check where the pump sits and have a close look between your old and new pump and it will become obvious where the elongated bolt hole is. Cheers Ken
  18. Check carefully where the elongated hole is and compare the R33 to R32. Will find you need to fill the hole in and redrill to stop it leaking. Cheers ken
  19. Yep , sure is. Thesed things don't seem to have much resale interest. Cheers Ken
  20. Get it rechipped. Will cost around $500-700 including dyno time and no wiring/issues. If you were in WA , no problem. I believe DR Drift on this forum can do them and he is in the East somewhere. Cheers Ken
  21. So he, or his mate. has a bazillion hp GTR tuned by Mick at Ovaboost and has more than the asking price in engine hardware alone BUT he doesn't advertise it on a Skyline forum or any Autotrader/Quokka/newspaper I have seen? Yeah riiiiiiggggghhhhhttttttt :bs!: :bs!: Maybe a call to Mick may get the truth cos for that price , I will have 2... Cheers Ken
  22. Absolutely awesome car Leewah and the yard stick we use when people say the Autronic is shit... Slightly off topic but does it run 1 or 2 Autronic CDI's? Free bump cos it's worth it... Cheers Ken
  23. Danny , Danny , Danny... Lets not go there hey:) Not all the units have been removed and agreed that if you are chasing over 450rwhp then the optional CDI is a good thing. Don't forget Dougs Targa GTR runs perfect with 1 bar boost and 420rwhp. As has been stated on numerous ocassions on other threads, Leewahs GTR seems to run fine with the Autronic and CDI and certainly puts down the numbers. As has also been alluded to in this thread, setup and install by an experienced person has a lot to do with it:) Cheers Ken
  24. Watch the uphill left at Barbagallo if you are going hard on comp rubber, the baffles still aren't enough. Back on thread, the N1 pumps have given us no problems yet but we keep our engines under 8,000rpm. Cheers Ken
