To answer skyr34's question, yes we have the Datalogit software for most of the Nissan range which does make the tuning a little easier and quicker. To give an idea of costing , an initial Power FC tune on a vehicle we see for the first time is $450. All subsequent tuning is purely dyno time at $140 per hour but with most of the bolton mods you would normally do to a Skyline, the additional tune time would only be 1 or 2 hours max. Cheers Ken

Can be used as in tank, we have done heaps. Won't fit in an R31 though as we did one yesterday. Swap it for a 023 which is about $50 cheaper and has a gauze on the bottom already so will fit. I think from memory they are still good for 450hp.( based on the fact a 044 is called a 600hp pump). Cheers Ken

Done it to a few big hp cars with large turbo's to stop the air reversion problem which plays hell with the AFM causing hunting as it comes back to idle. We did one in particular on a car that already had been tuned by us using one of the famous ( infamous ?? ) Lumpyroms. All I can tell you is when we changed it to post intercooler, it ran totally different and required virtually complete retuning. And yes it was an RB25DET and yes we did chip the Nissan computer that plugs in to the factory wiring plug and no it wasn't an RB25 computer :( Cheers Ken

Depends when you buy the car and where you love. Boat to Perth sails around the 26th of each month and car must be at the wharf by about 22nd. Takes 2 weeks to travel here and about 4 days to unload/quarantine/clear. Boat spaces are at a premium and may sit in Japan for 1 or 2 mths awaiting a spot. Cheers Ken

About $450 to get the car insured for $18K. They also need comprehensive photos taken, preferably at the holding yard or wharf. Craig organised those photos for me. Was not required fortunately as the car arrived exactly as it left Japan including all the gauges etc but I thought that $450 was good piece of mind. Excess is $500 as well but considering there was over $2k worth of gauges/power FC/shift knobs/harnesses/seats etc just ripe for the taking, it was still worth it. Cheers Ken

Do you have the adaptor flange for the screamer pipe section and I assume the wastegate bolts directly onto the manifold? Cheers Ken
