Does the Brake pad touch the disc when u jack the car up?

Unbolt the caliper ??? Why ?? Just pull the pins , push the pistons back and drop the pads in. But I have to ask if someone who doesn't know if the pads are supposed to be touching the disc is really qualified to work on a fairly important safety item as this ? Cheers Ken -
Get a cylinder leakage test. Will give a better indication of engine cond. Have had an engine recently that had acceptable compression variance but the leakage was up to 70% on 2 cylinders. cheers ken

Micko as you are the organiser for the w/end , make sure that everyone is there at 7.45. John Clark did not have Laurens name down but I said she is still coming. Paul you tosser ( j/k ), your talking about the gear change forks ( selector forks ). Sydneykid is talking about the fork that is attached to the thrust bearing which pushs on the clutch. Yes , Nismo do a thicker one for the GTR cos they break with triples in them. I have a complete HKS triple for a GTR including the thicker ( and longer to decrease leg pressure )clutch fork for sale if interested. Cheers Ken
