Not 100% but 1.5 supposedly locks under power and unlocks on coast ( ie lifting off around a corner. ) 2 way locks on power and coast and opens at neutral throttle. Cheers Ken

I got 220 at all 4 with 1 bar on Hendos and 260 at 1.2 bar ( I think). That was on std puter and it ran fine. So the reason it makes more power in the Mines is the lack of speed cut allows a higher rev ? To see if there is any advantage , see what it gets at 6900rpm. Cheers Ken

Yep can do but your wife has already done it for me... Is the diff noisy? The spacer thingy is probably the crush washer for the pinion bearing. My advice is to just turn up the radio a bit louder. Removing , o/hauling and while it's apart , replace the clutch packs , carrier bearings , reset the preload etc then the figure will be in the $1300- $1500 region. Get a 2nd hand one and be ready to throw it in if you run out of radio volume. Cheers Ken

As the cat sounds like it is probably screwed and therefore not doing it's job , my suggestion is to remove it and , err , eject the honeycomb stuff inside with a large screwdriver. This will get rid of your noise. Note to the EPA who are reading this , nismoman18 is only going to do this while at the racetrack. For all other times , he will go and purchase a new Hiflo cat at a cost of about $300. Yea riiiight. Ohh and btw , the reason the light probably went out is that there is nothing much left to overheat, hence the overheat light has gone off. Adam , what do you mean by bubbling through the coolant. Is it when the cap is off and running, or is it bubbling into the overflow bottle after you have stopped ? The retension is in case the gasket has crushed some more and everything has settled. Backing the bolt off slightly and retorquing in one smooth movement is not going to hurt the gasket. If it does , it was rooted anyway. Cheers Ken
