To isolate the problem , do as Troy said and put the HKS back on just to make sure it wasn't just coincidence. If it's fine then the filter is the problem. Will have to remap the puter to compensate for less restriction. Cheers Ken

Check the turbo to manifold bolts aren't loose. The tabs can work loose and allow the 4 nuts to come undone. You may have to drop the turbo to block brace off under the car so as to get an accurate feel if it's loose. Mine made a squealing sound , chuffing sound coming onto boost cos only 1 of the 2 were not tight. Cheers Ken

Dropped into Parker Point where we downed a few on his mates 35 Bertram , better. Blasted back from Rotto at Mach 10 ( or it felt like it ), best. Monday , crabbing and Jetskiing down Mandurah. All this Sun and sea is too healthy . Got to get back to my darkened room to whore. Hehehe Will be working and working on Maverick/trailer/GTR for rest of week so will only be sporadically posting. Hi peeps , bye peeps. Just spent all day on the bloody GTR. Pulled off inlet manifold cos it had spat No6 throttle body gasket. Finished at lunchtime , fire it up and found that the rear turbo gasket had gone too. Have JUST finished. , 4hrs for the inlet , 9hrs for the turbo gasket. Not fun and I'm glad I didn't have to pull off the front one , thats worse. Anyway , I'm knackered and going boating tomorrow so bye all. Cheers Ken
