  1. I'll add to bad things about Newcastle, the company I worked for a year and a half ago let me go on redundancy & then they couldn't even pay my super due to bankruptcy. But other than that I still love Newy to live over anywhere else I've ever been Waiting on a quote for a big ass service from DenStoj, hopefully that’ll run smoothly.
  2. Woah... well that's just a big downer isn't it...
  3. Lol! That's great more, More!
  4. Just get a SAFCII!
  5. I just got me Photoshop CS2 after seeing some visual gradient bugs in CS & would hope CS2 would be faster & more practical… but thank god I left CS1 on. As a web designer being able to design fast is top priority, ease of short cuts, tool selection, & tool use all being quick is a must have. After using CS2 for 15 minutes I had to leave it & go back to CS seeing I had a deadline to meet & CS2 was seriously slowing me down. CS2 used the CPU like nothing else, & I have a decent computer too with an Athlon 64 4000+ & 1GB of 2.5 cas latency RAM, not the mention 2 physical scratch drives on top of startup. I did like a few little things in CS2, the scroll bars are always there so the canvas boarder doesn’t pop out when sizing over the canvas / screen width. I also like how you can select layers in the layer panel with shift & delete with the Delete key now. Smart-Layers was another good features. But all of these are pointless if there’s going to be a lag on everything to do in the program. Having to double click layers & shit is stupid 'and once again slower' if the Photoshop window isn’t already in focus. I usually have the Info panel open which on-the-fly gives colour RGB / CMYK / X – Y points, & pixel dimensions of selections which I use a lot. JUST having this panel open & moving around your mouse puts the CPU up to 100%, then when your just moving your mouse around in a circle the cursor on screen starts to jump & catches up to where your mouse actually is due to this tool absolutely chewing the CPU, in CS1, the CPU goes no higher than 60% & no jump’age. Selecting layings in CS2 even delays, in CS1, it’s instant. In CS1 you can hold down Ctrl & left click on screen to select a layer ‘including inside a folder, in CS 2, if that layer happens to be in a folder, it selects the folder & folder only. The only way I got around this was to hold down Alt & Right click, & that would select the actual layer with-in a folder. This is a stupid key combination because the Alt key is too far away from the arrow keys ‘which my hand is always at’ & right clicking isn’t as natural as left clicking. They had it right already in CS1! I’ve read many other reviews & there’s quite a few from others out there who think it’s a slow POS too. I’d like to hear from others using / tried CS2 too & what they use it for. I’ll be sticking with CS1 & will try CS3 once out, I just bloody hope CS3 is a fixed version of CS2, there’s never much of a difference between Photoshop versions, usually just slight things making it better, but unfortunately this time they’ve went backwards in CS2. Final words, DON’T SPEND ANY MONEY ON CS2.
  6. Lol, good to see more participants. Rice-O-Door!
  7. Sub standard to your usual work, don't like the outer boarder, especially on left side, but the middle looks not to bad.
  8. Just go the volks
  9. Not bad, pretty kool.
  10. lol that's good.
  11. You're a freak man, ridiculously good. I still can‘t even tell if you’ve chopped images ontop or simply created the shape / colours / layers yourself in some areas with no images.
  12. Ok, I Need to get a 100k service, it seems my mechanic is just too busy to do it so I might be going else where this time. 'Personally' I think the job scares them because it requires quite a few parts for an import & they don't usually do that. Here's my list I'll present to workshops (after you recommend some to me in Newy ) 100k Service 1995 Nissan Skyline R33, GTS25T (gts-t) 1) Replace Timing belt and ancillary belts (cam, drive, etc.) 2) Change oil and oil filter 3) Coolant system air purge 4) Replace fuel filter 5) Replace spark plugs Replace Water pump Replace O2 sensor. Change Brake & Clutch fluids. Change Gearbox oil to Redline Lightweight 4L, around 3.7L used. Change Diff oil to Redline Heavy, 1.5L Install oil catch can. Replace Idle bearing and tensioner Check throttle body / plenum for residue. Check steering, car pulls to the Left due, the arm underneath may not be in align, was aligned before but not done correctly. Odometer isn’t working, hopefully just fiddle with it to remove any dust / dirt stopping it. Exhaust manifold gasket may be needed. Parts needed: Nissan timing belt Ancillary belts (alternator, water pump, cam, drive, etc.) Oil and oil filter Coolant Fuel Filter Iridium Spark Plugs NSK bearings O2 sensor Any workshop suggestions, What's that one called denhams, danihams, something like that? I don't really want to go to a strictly 'performance' shop because it's not performance work, its just plain old mechanical work, just with jap parts
  13. Got a wave from a custom Blue r33 GTST with veilside12 kid 'i think' the other week, it was nice because it hasn't happened for quite some time, I used to wave a lot but ended up not because most people don't. But ever now & again there's there nod or wave which is good. Depending on if I can see the person well enough will decide my ‘pre-emtive wave’ decision, if they look like a tossa heading down to the foreshore to pick up some 14 yr old poon, NO WAVE FOR YOU! Also, if you street race, make sure you wave after your little run, regardless of car, I’ve had that with silvia’s & even holdens :| Good stuff
  14. LOl HAHAH, nOw I'm only paying $1.35 for ultimate 12 months later!! HHAHAH :| !! They're handling this petrol situation nicely....
  15. So what was the resolution? What did pulse do? Luke & Josh seemed like good fellas when I delt with them getting a dyno tune, hope they didn't sh!t on ya.
  16. Hahahah very creative. Neithers... I though it was like Jesus or something
  17. hahah, thanks guys... I knew my car was feeling slightly super mega happy fast
  18. lol, sorry, taken from my phone, here's 1 taken from camera. Thanks.
  19. SK, My can doesn’t have a breather on top, just two nozzles, can i run both cam cover lines to the can or must i have a breather to release pressure? If so I spose I could run one line to the can & put a filter on the end of the other nozzle, but i dont really want to have an atmos setup & i also dont want oil going into my plenum & so forth, thats why i thought I could run 1 line in & the other line to the sump? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> BUMP on this questions. believe it or not I still haven't installed it yet, but I'm getting my 100K service next week hopefully, so going to get it done then. Does any one run the 'out pipe to sump' set up? Sounds most attractive to me if do-able enough.
  20. Just wanted to know what these 2 badges on my engine say. See attached. Thanks
  21. ^ lol, I'll pay that.
  22. Gezz I don't know what you call 'close' because the PS3 is twice as powerful in system specs. And at this level of technology, that's a fair bloody jump. Underdog :| Microsoft is still in deficit with their XBOX, they sell the console at a loss just trying to get into the heavily dominated Playstation gaming market. They're yet to make $1 profit. They expect to finally start making a profit with the 360, 'expect'. Playstation has always had the pole position vs xbox & with the new PS3 console being twice as powerful as the 360 & better games, I think Sony will continue to lead the way. Underdog? I think you’ve got PS3 confused with infact XBOX.
  23. WRXforums are thata way >>>>
  24. Yeah uncalled for it they weren’t endangering my car & driving like a f'ing lunatic. If the punk didn't cut in & didn't force me to lock up all 4s & miss his card by 1 foot then yeh would have done nothing, but the asswhole came this ' ' close to a crash due to imensily agressive & stupid driving, needed a mild punishment.
