  1. Yep explanation over... It's been explained to you that you have 729 Nm of Tractive Effort in 4th & not 729Nm T. Whether you keep your sig "729 Nm T" or not is your choice. I Just thought if someone was displaying something false they might want to be informed & learn something new? I think it’s good if some1 can explain something to me properly if I’m wrong, I spose I just like to learn & grow from the experience. Isn’t that a major factor of car forums, learn something new. Ehhh over anyways now. Enjoy your “729 Nm T” beast.
  2. Yeh I get the different between the two. I was correct to say he doesnt have that much Nm in Torque. We're just talking about being specific here. I think people seen 729NM on their dyno sheet & think that comparable to say the Nm reading you'll see in Motor mags where they're actually at the fly & true figures to the engines Torque. So to say you have 729 NM torque is incorrect. If he corrects that to 729 Nm Tractive Effort in say 4th Gear well it's all good then isnt it. Why bother to even say you have XXX Nm based of your dyno sheet without specifying what gear it was pulled in also, without stating the gear it hold's no importance really. There's a quite a difference between say 3rd & 4th gear. & like you said, put it into 1st & that figure jumps sky high. http://www22.brinkster.com/badgermotorspor/Dyno.html

  4. Lol Many dyno sheets have lied before... There are dynos out there which are just plain inaccurate & there's also ways to cheat / fake dyno readings. They can involve messing with the AT & IT temps for a starter. Sorry dude but theres no other way to break it you you... There is no way your car is making 729 Nm based on the fact its 2L & running 16psi. 210rwkw sounds right, but 729 for Nm T is way off. Maybe try to listen & learn what we're trying to explain to you instead of telling us we're wrong or being so certain you're right ‘with no facts to back your theory up other than "Dynos dont lie" :rofl:'.
  5. I'm not car or torque expert I just thought this doesnt sound right out of my common sense. A ford FPV GT makes around 550 Nm T at the flywheel I believe, this is from a 5.7L V8 which is very torquey & i think it makes around 300 kw at the fly also. Now lets guestimate you have around 270 Kw (210 rwkw + 60kw drive train loss) at your fly on a 2L engine only running 16psi. Like I said, I dont know what the exact equations are for torque figures but I certainly know that 729 Nm T! is a absolute shit load for a 2L engine running under 20 pound. I mean stock Mercs V8 Supercharged cars make around this figure. A Holden Monaro with a Twin Turbo kit makes around 850 Nm T, so a 2L running 16 pound making 729 Nm T just doesn’t sound right to me. Anybody else who actually knows more about torgue figures please but in? Where SK when you need him... He'd set things straight. 'regardless whos right or wrong'

HighFlow Cat K & N Pod Filter Irodium Spark Plugs Blitz Open-Atmos BOV 'not exactly performance, but helps keep turbo flow'in Brass Button Clutch Always run BP Ultimate Stock RB25DET engine. Stock Headgasket, Injectors, Cams etc. Thats about the gist of it... Here's a good dyno sheet showing my first performance tune with the SAFC The lowest line is approx 230 rwhp with the SAFC running stock A/Fs ‘eg no tune’ The next line up approx 255 rwhp was after the SAFC tune ‘still running stock 7psi’. The top line 292 rwhp was when running 12psi on inferior fuel. Since then using ultimate & a leaner tune have now got 309 rwhp on 12psi.
  8. Changing the windshield wipers for sure... Jesus christ... those f#ckers just didnt want to come off... I had to like lift up the windshield wiper 'what a mission', try sliding out the old one... was so stiff had to get a friend to help rip it out together... finally got that rubber mother off... THEN trying to install the new one... it was like trying to fit a football down a garden hose.... so tight... Anyway 5 hours later I finally got my windshield wipers changed.. 'YES BOTH OF THEM' & it's something I wish never to do again... I've also got an intense story about changing the rear licence plates lights... but there'll be time for that another day... EDIT... Just to make sure nobody takes anything at all literally from my story I have actually changed wipers b4 for in about 2 mins no problems... LMAO com'on how could any1 take any part of my 'pulling leg story' serious... Lwells... I see you deleted your post... hahah It took you 30 mins? I really hope you were kidding too..
  9. 3" zorst, FMIC, GTR Fuel Pump, SAFCII 'Dyno Tuned to 12:1 A/F'' on 12 psi = 230 wizzles at the rizzles... SAFCs are great for your basic A/F tuning...
  10. Man thats a big turbo on your Car Jason.. FMD... What are the specs on that sucka... Do you use your car as a daily driver 'atleast drive once a week'.. gezzzz with a car like that it'd be so hard not to speed, at least you know you could truly out run / gun cops / any car on road...Take the plates off one night & do some Get Away in Stockholm runs.... :crazy: | haha

  12. I like the design of the 350Z... but the new skyline is basically a 350Z... i dont care which was designed first, the fact is they're both very similar cars... with different names. Nissan has gone down the Path of car manufactures like Holden, Ford, & now Mazda. Most of the cars produced by these manufactures all look very similar... The GTO all the way down to the Commonwhore... they still 'basically' look the same. Just tweaks here & there. Mazda's 6, 3, & 2 all look very similar.... I spose its also like BMW... Theres a heap of different beamers out there & if you dont know beamers well you could almost swear they're all the same car, only the badge at the back lets you know its actually a different model. I spose my viewpoint is simply it seems kinda lame to badge a new car a with a new name as if it's a totally new car when its not really.. It's a tweak of an existing model, & Nissan never used to be like where they’re heading today. I mean Nissan produced totally different performances cars back in the days like the Silvia, 300ZX, & the Skyline. Now Nissan has the Maxima, V35, & 350Z all looking the same. I think a V35 done up does look mad, I just don’t think it should be called a skyline, visually it’s brought nothing over from the previous skyline & even the engine has now gone NA where there used to be a popular line turbo skylines with Twin Turbos or Singles & also NA’s. At least the next GTR will be TT.
  13. It flutters at low PSI because there not enough pressure to open up the BOV Fluttering can also occur if theres too much pressure & 1 BOV cant vent enough air out quickly enough.

  15. Did you have your engine dyno’d because I hear you cant get a true Nm figure from a rwd dyno. You have to get the engines flywheel tested for nm?

  19. Ok, I've organised the date, someone organise the spot... haha. I've only just moved to Manly & dont know sh#t about sh#t where to meet or what's a good place to drive. However if someone simply suggests a good spot well we can just meet there 'I'll look it up on whereis :)' & we can then drive to where-ever is good. I went for a drive up to North Head of Manly where the national park is the other day... what an amazing view... A decent amount of car parking too but its out the way probably for most Northern Beaches skyliners... would need to meet at a place more central maybe, suggestions? Actually filling one or two of those main carparks with skylines up at North Head on a Sat or Sunday during the day would make some amazing photography snaps & a good place just to have a chat & gezzz at others cars too.

I've had no problems with 2 run ins with cops so far while doing a RBT somehow they didn’t care about my canon or to check under my bonnet, lucky!'
  21. I think you've misunderstood me... Twin tip.. meaning a single muffler with 2 tips coming off it at the back. single 3" in, twin 2" out....
  22. I had a twin 2" tip muffler coming off a 3" turbo back exhaust... It was way quieter but I got bored of it & dumped the f#ck off canon back on... I felt the twin 2" we holding a few Kw back at top end compared to my canon. Once putting the 4.5” tip back on top end just felt like it breathed easier & snapped that redline even quicker.
