Its gona be a BIGGGGGGGGG cruze, HOT4s would be taking snaps for sure! It'll get publicity in many different forms I'd assume. As posted in the HOT4s forum, make sure you wash your car Saturday because it might just get shot on the day. http://forum.hot4s.com.au/messageview.cfm?...&threadid=27511 -
Question about BOV and fuel mixtures.
geno8r replied to LANFOH's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
Yeh I'd imagine there wouldnt be any difference with the power fc, you'll still get stalls with an atmos BOV. You'll be fine with a plumback so just get one of those if it suits ya. Only way to fight the stalls with atmos BOVs i believe is with a SAFCII. I actually have one of these, got it dyno tuned but i dont think the feature which is meant to help stop stalls with atmos BOVs has been tuned. There might be that function on the Power FC too? I think the question would be to find somebody who actually has that feature on the SAFCII tuned & working! -
Question about BOV and fuel mixtures.
geno8r replied to LANFOH's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
You'll only run rich for a second until you open up your throttle again & then the airflow calculations will be correct again. Its nothing bad or dangerous, but may be annoying because you'll get stalls easy after venting out your BOV. I had to change my driving style 'tap the throttle after venting the BOV' to stop stalls. -
Yep, have a pod & tighter BOV

What Kind of Diff do i have?
geno8r replied to geno8r's topic in Suspension, braking, tyres and drivetrain
Went driving today, really took notice of cornering & the rear wheels. Feels like a very tight 2-way. If I get the car rolling fairly neutral, minimal acceleration or deceleration around corners it seems not to lock up, A little gas & then she locks. -

Hahah yeh, defiantly glad i gota 2-way. All im trying to understand now is @ what amount of torque gives it enough pressure to lock it up, i'd love it if it would lock up at say 100 Nm +. Then I'd fine for parking & easy cornering. Is there anything I can do about it locking so easily? Maybe it's bloody set up for drift or is a drift LSD or something because coz its pretty much locked full time when the final pinion is delivering any torque when the clutch is engaged. -

Nar it couldnt be full locked because the wheels are able to spin independently when the clutch is disengaged. From my understanding that would give no power to the final pinion 'no acceleration or deceleration’ so no torque to move the cam which locks the diff through its clutches? I'm just going off this page http://www.club4ag.com/faq%20and%20tech_pa...rential_101.htm If it was fully locked, it wouldn’t matter whether the clutch was in or out, I'd get shudder & wheels skipping on tight corners regardless. -

http://www.upgrademotoring.com/suspension/...art_diagram.htm ・ Two way LSD Recommended on the rear axle for rear drive cars. Activates on both acceleration and deceleration. Recommended for those who prefer hot driving action and big angle drift. Yep that sounds like me. i love hot driving action... lol What kind of LSD do skylines come stock with. 1 - Way LSDs? Race cars would use 1- Way LSDs hey? http://www.club4ag.com/faq%20and%20tech_pa...rential_101.htm I Think its starting to make sence now. So it would seem i have a 2 way LSD, but a good 2 way LSD shouldn’t lock the wheels under low Torque on tight corners right? Can you adjust all or only some 2 Way Diffs to when they will start to lock up, because mine locks up way easy & isnt practical for parking. -

Owww yer. On tight corners or turn at ends of streets I kick in the clutch pedal so I can roll around without the tyres shaking & sounding nasty. If I do have a '2 way LSD' Anybody wana tell me how these work, is it some sort of mechanical torque converter which locks up the wheels the second it feels any torque. It'll lock up the wheels if i drop the clutch when idling in the dirt & get the wheels to burn out a tad as the wheels align up to sync with each other 'lock it up'. Pretty much it's always locked, but when clutch is disengaged its not locked. -

Hi Just a quick question hopefully somebody who knows their sh#t about diffs can help me out. My rear wheels lock the second my clutch is engaged, when the clutch is disengaged the rear wheels are able to spin independently. What kind of LSD is this? Cheers,

Took some photo's of my ride today from my Mobile. I've never got around to buying my own digi cam so my mobile is all I have. Most of the shots were sh!t, I usually get results of around 1 in 7 shots are worth showing & photochop'in to optimise the shot. I've posted the original shot, the manipulated image, & the final chopped/edited image. Phone: Nokia 3650 Comment: The 3650 is one of Nokia's 1st generation video phones. The image was taken at high quality & at a capture resolution of 640 * 480. Original Manipulated Edited/Choped Duno if there's many of you's out there but Anyone who has done a bit of Mobile Phone Photography & or Photoshop work to the image please post your shots. Cheers PS: They actually had a Mobile Phone Photography competition over in the UK ran by some gallery or something, cant see why we cant have ours on SAU  .

Theres a point when that 'next mod' installed into your line is that special mod which is installed straight into your heart, your line & you now become one as a single entity, its something you cant explain but can only feel. It is true love. *lol If you don't feel this, & you’re not really attached, 16 Cash, is to be taken in a dash.
