Hi Well i said in some threads in discussion to SAFCII's i was getting mine tuned... Well i did today so here are my cars performance mods and the results! r33 GTS25T 95' Series I.5 T3/T4 HighFlow VL Turbo GTR Front Mount Intercooler GTR Fuel Pump Apexi S-AFCII GReddy Profec B Boost Controller 3" Exhaust Turbo Back HighFlow Cat MegaFlow Muffler Twin 2" Tip K & N Pod Filter Blitz Open-Atmosphere BOV Brass Button Clutch Locked Diff 9.5" Wide Rear Works Rims Always run 98 Octane Stock RB25DET engine. Stock Headgasket, Injectors For anyone interested i hope this is enough information to show a power example for these mods and turbo. The tuner said they had a another t3/t4 on another car and it only made the same power on 18 psi, they said they were happy with the result on 12psi and i was too. Oww i was running Optimax too so once i run Ultimate into it im getting a free Retune in about 2 weeks so we'll see the difference in power there too! BP vs Shell in the ultimate showdown! I'm hoping for some good figures once i get a fuel cut defender or save a bit and get a power fc. I'm currently getting 215 rwkw at 12psi. Once i get the necessary upgrades i'll be boosting about 16 - 17 depending on how the stock injectors go. There's still much tuning potential to happen . Oww and yeh, i have a highflowed T3/T4.

Lol, i agree with ya there... 180 is enough to be doing on Aussie roads... Until ya get on the drag or race track & need more. By The Way...I think Series 2 Ecu's do allow 14 psi.. just not series 1.

seraphyn... Yeh, like in my previous post.. These types of drivers are "tools" in their purest form. They pretty much just hate every1 regardless of what car your driving. Everyone! Download these songs "Why Do I Try So Hard" by "Two Up" "Mr Tough Guy" by "Ugly Duckling" *can be downloaded from Kazaa, probably Soulseek too. I think these songs relate to a lot of young holden drivers... The lyrics rhyme, are true, & hilarious at the same time.

Ahhh Cheers Sydney kid. Yeh well im not actually tuning the thing but I'll pass that the info on to the tuner.... I like it how it has 2 different settings. I duno if it'll be worth getting both tuned or just the one for max power and the other just stock. I'll probably just have the SAFCII on stock most the time and put it on the tuned data file when i know I'll be booting.

Hey Boro, Yeh, we've had this conversation before... My r33 series 1.5 cuts boost at 10 psi even with my boost controller. Now when its getting dark and the air is much cooler boosting quicker i've hit 11 and 12psi but never above this. I've also had no problems running at this boost too. So i hear series 1 cut is 10psi and series 2 is 14psi. who would have thought 3 - 4 psi extra is that much faster Getting my SAFCII dyno tuned tomorrow too... Will be good to get the dyno gain stats. It's currently got a tank of optimax so i'm getting a tune touch up when i start running Ultimate into it. The mechanics said they have really seen a difference between the 2 fuels.

Hi I'm getting my car dyno tuned very shortly and the mechanic asked me what fuel i usually run. I said optimax. He said that they tested fuels and for the best tuning results it was. 1. Ultimate 2. Synergy 8000 3. Optimax. Now i've done a little searching around on the net and it seems that it's a fight between Synergy and Ultimate for the best tuning performance. Now to be vehicle specific with skylines... Can any1 post what they've had their car tuned to and what their mechanic said about tuning with certain fuels. Cheers,

Looks better than stock for sure, its good... I'm not big on the gril being formed with the front bar tho... And the FMIC comment was spot on. I had a 400R bar on mine but it was too low... so back to old M-Spec bar.

Yeh i had my battery disconected just the other day and went "shit, does it keep settings" yes, yes it does. I'm getting mine dyno tuned this week actually I only have one question about the SAFCII.... Is there a setting to switch between general driving and performance mode, like Hi and Lo settings on boost controllers. Coz i run my standard 7psi 90% of the time and up the boost here and there... Thats when i want the extra fuel to be pumping in and the SAFCII to play its part! Also anyone who has had their SAFCII dyno tuned, any figures of kw gain you might wana throw this way ?

Where did i read it here in the forums that there's an over population of dickhead holden P platers in Newcastle, yeh, I've had a run in with a dick in a VL, it wasnt in my skyline tho, didnt have it back then, think that shows it doesnt mata what car u have, if its not a holden, there could be shit. As for bassball bats, my m8 has one in his car *its just a old shitty normal car* and he waves it out the window threatening any1 who gives him road rage, the bad thing is its usually his fault coz he's a shit driver to cause road rage in the first place.

Hey im a relativlely new Newy skyline owner... I wouldnt mind meeting fellow owners in Newy, a skyline cruise would would be good, i missed out on the last one if it did go ahead. Owww and i like Newy over Sydney, I lived in Syd for 6 months so i do have a taste of it, and Newy is just so relaxed, its good.

I think any Skyline vs HSV argument is always going to be preaching to the converted. Most likely if you own a car with a Cult following like skylines, supra's, HSVs etc, the person is going to really love their car and argue it's better down to the bone *i would with my skyline*. As for all owners of a certain car being dickheads or wateva, Like all things, there can be a large majority of owners who are a stereotypical image & ones who totally arnt, simple as that. As for the view point of HSV drivers, i agree on some of it to a certain degree just like they probably think the same thing about us skyline owners. I've seen cool Hsv owners, and the exact oposite. I call my car jap crap even tho i love it... see its not a pay out of the owners are using the word, just a lighthearted joke of a name.

I sometimes get fellow skyline waves & ofcourse wave back. Its great when u race another skyline and give the thumbs up and laugh at the end too, the way it should be, all happy campers. I havent met many skyline owners in person but they have been good blokes, I've stayed in contact with'em. 21 - 27 seems to be the age for owners. I also liked the point that theres just so many dam skylines these days its not as close of a bond with other skyline owners as what it would have used to been, how many would they import a month these days... A LOT.

My work nearly bought computer software from some **** spam email, said the web site looked all professional and legit. Yeh... thats because it was a bloody graphic template purchased for $200 and some matchstick men on the other side. I think the saying of "It's too good to be true" is usually just that, not true at all, things are always priced at what they are for a reason, stolen, fake, ebay scam... wateva.
