Yeah I saw that thread too, but they definatly don't - only way is if someone has put them in afterwards.

No RB30 blocks (be it from an RB30ET or RB30E) have oil squirters stock.

I'm after an R33 RB25 Series 1 loom (don't need coilpacks) Anyone who has one please reply here or PM me with the details and price you're after. I know this may sound bitchy, but please don't just ask me to call you when you can just as easily post/pm the info here and prevent possibly wasting time for the both of us. Thanks in advance! Edit: Possibly as an alternative, if someone has some s2 coilpacks (complete) I could use them.

hmm well so far for me. $900 for an rb25det complete head $4200 for a complete rebuilt (CP forged pistons, arp head studs, oil feeds/VCT line tapped in, manifolds acid dipped/turbo fitted, the lot). $927 for a powerFC estimate a new turbo and 6boost custom manifold will be ~$4000 (GT42/45) jdcustom plenum $700 fuel system $1000 i guess (already got one 044). gearbox - $3500 so that's around about 15 grand, probably not 500kw worth, but definatly wouldn't be shy. If I could find myself an R33 loom i'd be in business, but after 4 months of searching and searching..... starting to get very annoyed!

c'mon ... I specifically asked for references. I know it's 'common sense' that you don't swerve to avoid hitting small animals, but as I mentioned where do you draw the line? What about a herd of geese, or a lamb. Would a tiger or leapord be classified as a cat? This sort of thing is too ambiguous to be a set in stone law. Anyway I'll believe it when you find me a 'law' regarding it edit: here are the SA road rules for your convenience - just quote the part which states it http://www.parliament.sa.gov.au/Catalog/le...1999.219.un.htm

Where does the law say you shouldn't stop for animals? (references please) Where do they draw the line? Have the categorised every animal into a handy guide with a red X for "kill" and a green tick for "don't kill!". Anyway, good luck mowing down stray cows and sheep... Pretty much it's up to the person to stay a safe distance behind you for EXACTLY that reason, it could be anything, hell you might have a brake malfunction or tailshaft drop out, and come to a screaming halt. But yeah if someone tailgates be close enough that I can't even see their bonnet, I've got a towbar (at ~ radiator height) for just that purpose. Worst was a wanker following me home, when I was sitting on 110km/h in a 110 zone and he was RIGHT up my arse, we went past probably 2 over taking zones (plus it was a clear road with over taking markings mostly anyway), and he refused to go past. When we came to an 80 zone i just locked the brakes up back to 80 and he decided to overtake, yay. edit: also, it seems to be mainly old people who tailgate, probably tailgating is one of the most annoying things (personally).

I've got one you can probably borrow as well, bought it fairly recently though - not sure if it would work or not... I reckon the controllers _are_ different depending on the unit, but it's quite possible i'm wrong

I drove past the white skyline on hindley street last night, number plates were BOWDOWN, seems like the front was fairly flattened in! Didn't see what it hit, but they were loading it onto a tow truck as I drove past.
-
Yep pretty much! I reckon everytime someone asks me a question about my car the first thing is 'how much boost is it running'... very stupid.
-
get here to call regency park and ask what the _exact_ eyebrow height is for her model of car - they are all different. Then it's just a matter of getting some new springs most likely - why does a n 89 prelude need a performance shop if you don't mind me asking? If it's something special and has a lot of modified bits and pieces, then that will cause a lot of problems as well :\

Basically, the story goes that I have a plenum, and a large box of assorted hoses, clamps and fittings.... I've got some nice line diagrams which has helped with most things, but I'm wondering if anyone has any photos of a complete rb25det plenum (with all hoses connected)? In particular the heater hoses! A specific quesiton though - does the (coolent line?) joining from the very back of the plenum, leading to the turbo charger have a t-piece or anything on it - or is it just a direct connection, someone has sent me a photo of an rb20 which seems to have one leading off it.
-
Mate intercoolers are totally fine, as long as you havn't hacked apart structural bodywork to fit it or anything, its a-ok.
-
ah excellent - just what i wanted to hear. thanks

I'm doing an rb25/30 conversion at the moment and only just saw a diagram with the boost sensor in it... now I don't have this, and am going to be running a powerFC, do I need it - does it actually report any info back that is used by the ECU? Also, if it is, what are they worth...
-
reckon any of these would work/fit? Pretty cheap prices too http://www.injectorsonline.com/indivprod.php?c=6
-
most of the coolent lines to be honest heh, it's okay I'm borrowing a diagram from someone now.
-
yeah no probs sounds like a plan. Just got to get this thing installed over the holidays, I seriously have no idea how the fark I'm going to hook this plenum up, I barely just had the VL one understood, this is like 50x more difficult.
-
engines are looking great guys - seems everyones getting theirs this time of the year. Does anyone have a diagram of where the hell everythings supposed to go on the R33 plenum?
-
heh, its just a stock r33 turbo, will be using it to run things in for the moment and when I can afford it I'll be getting a nice gt42 + 6boost manilfold!
-
laffo - yeah good one  their job is ruining people.
-
err doommachine, are you running the factory computer that YOUR CAR came with (NOT the 'factory computer' your engine has). That is another major setback I've found.
