Thanks yeah I did the accelerator pedal and it worked but management light came back on. I have just had the faults checked on the reader and came up with 4 culprits (apparently) 1. P0031 A/F SENSOR 1 HTR (B1) 2. P0051 A/F SENSOR 1 HTR (B2) 3. P0037 HO2 S2 HTR (B1) 4. P0057 HO2 S2 HTR (B2) Is anyone familiar with these codes or had the same ones come up and found their problem? The auto sparky says for checking each one of these it needs further work on a styroscope or something to that effect to check properly the faults.. not sure how many hours at $88 p/hour it will take though... He did mention it could be a pre heat sensor source of some kind. I'm hopeful some fellow GT owners may have had these codes come up and successfully rectified the problem?

HI all! I have a skyline 350GT which has the check engine light on. I am looking for someone to check for fault codes in the bayside area of Brisbane, QLD if anyone knows someone not at Nissan? I would take a guess here and say that the stealers will charge a small fortune to plug a cable in to read some codes! lol...

any ideas guys for non working AC panel? im stumped ATM..

This may not be your problem but worth a quick look!1 I had either really cold at 18 degrees but even on 18.5 onwards the temperature was blowing hot air... After further investigation the sensor 2 pin connector under the steering wheel had bent one of the pins hence not working the sensor properly... Check the connector pins and make sure they are not bent.... Once I reshaped my pins the climate worked fine!! Cheap fix.. worth a look hey!! good look.... No power to my AC at now at all. im stumped... ;-( Good luck !!!!

Hi I have a 350GT 04 I have just had the AC controls stop working...Like no lights or anything...But the stereo still works fine...I thought these were on the same fuse so im guessing it not the fuse near the fire wall! Also strangely enough the gear lever will not let me pull down into gear. there is usually a click when I press the brake then you can put into gear but there is no click.. im guessing its a fuse somewhere? I have checked all the fuses at the fire wall near the battery and all seem fine! I can for now manually push s\down the white clip under the centre console which releases the gear lever! Any ideas on the ac issue? im hoping its not the controls themselves!! I saw on you a guy had battery power issues and resoldered 3 resistors I think were 508-509-510,,on the stereo main board or auto finisher board! maybe this is the issue?

Hey all... Does anyone know where I can order a new sensor for the climate control at the drivers left knee area? Any Part number at all? Im thinking its probably just best to replace the sensor and hopefully this will fix the climate control heat settings problem???

Thanks for replies!! So im guessing I have to get it on a fault code machine or probably cheaper just buying the sensor? After taking my seat out the AIrbag light keeps flashing on now!! Arhh!!!!! :verymad:Everything plugged back in OK under the seat! Is there a way to reset ECU without a trip to Nissan? Take off Battery Earth for a few minutes work?

Thanks for replies... Seat base was relatively easy to remove. Removed full seat then seat base... As for the Climate control issue I checked the pipe on the back of the panel as discussed and the pipe was STILL attached. I tried to get my hand as far as I could and followed the pipe.. It goes into a small grey box near the back of the stereo and has a hole on the top of the little unit... It looks as though it should have a pipe on top of the grey box. I had a good feel around as far as I could go and there doesn't seem to be a pipe! could there be an electrical or part issue?

Hi all.. I have a skyline 350GT 04. Im having issues with the climate control... On 18 degrees the AC works fine for cold. The problem is even on 18.5degrees the temperature is like having it on full heat setting, doesn't seem to be holding correct temp... Is this some kind of resistor or part replacement? Im also looking at getting the notorious ripped drivers seat fixed on the leather/ vinyl seat. I was wondering if it is possible to remove the seat BASE only with removing the whole seat?

Hi all! I have just finished my I phone connection via the jap tv through RCA plugs... I have added a 2 way splitter box RCA's. I can use the I phone for music which it reads through TV function on the car screen, it will recognize videos also through the iphone. 1, why wont the car recognize google maps through the I phone?? I have added a dvd player through the other RCA's and the car screen brings up audio and video but the picture is black and white with a slight line across the top of the screen. The cable out of the dvd player is a single jack male plug into 3 RCA(audio L/R and video) 2. Why is the dvd showing in black and white? I have a general Tom Tom sat nav which has a really small USB into the device and is a standard size USB out the other end. 3. Is there a cable I can buy to link my sat nav through its MALE standard USB to the RCA's on the Jap T.V box? Im not bothered for a Australian TV tuner, just I phone music and a dvd player/possible connection for sat nav..

Arh SWEET so the module is under the passenger glove box area?? I was going to just splice/ground the park brake wire actually at the park brake, but if its easier to do from the passenger module thingy even better, as I was going to do the speed sense wire also if I could find it! So that wire is a BLUE/BLACK STRIPE RIGHT, How would one test you have the speed sense wire? Excuse my ignorance here, im not a wiring techy at all. So by cutting the speed sense wire you can always watch video/screen function whilst on the move? A switch which some are putting in is for turning the screen off whilst driving right? Isnt the reason for cutting it in the first place is to use the screen on the move? Bascially just wondering why a switch?

Well looking at the connections from jap tuner to 3x RCA outputs is an easy fix to get your ipod working on your TV. All you need then is 3 RCA to ipod cable. JOB done.. I admit although IMO $180 is steep to get it into English its better for resale so I got it done. Only need the band expander fitted now. $180 English conversion $ 30-60 approx. for cables. $ 15 FM band expander. Still need the ipod dock for the ashtray...

I own a 04 V35 skyline.. I have had the screen converted to English..cost $180 which is Steep after having it done for what your going to use is for is pretty expensive.. Although I do like the fact I can change my service interval dates(once a year..) I figured seeing as though I have had that done i am in the process of getting my iphone working through the Jap tv tuner in next couple of weeks through Simon In Brisbane.. I will be doing the band expander shortly. Im looking at only 2 types i can find on ebay. One swears 18MHZ is the best way to go but only has a positive wire and the other shows it has a neg and positive feed which will STOP the humming sound...
