I'm running a standard r33 turbo (15psi) with a front mount, 3" twin dump and a GTR clutch on my r32 GTSt sedan. Makes about 200rwhp with a chipped ECU, i ran a 13.7 @ 100MPH with a 60' of 2.0 This was with 17" 255 45 Nankans. I think thats about as quick as its gonna go with that setup. What do u guys reckon? is there more in it?

well thats what i was told, i'm not sure if it applies to all rotor injectors though. The duration that there open for is controlled by the computer so that shouldn't make any difference.

The problem with rx7 injectors is there spray pattern (or lack of it). The rotors use a squirt like fuel delivery as opposed to piston cars which require an atomised mist to mix with the O2 properally. We all know how important air/fuel mixture is in a turbo motor and thats why a few tuners up here in brissy will refuse to a tune a piston car with rotor injectors.

i was down there on sat night, saw erin and a few skylines leaving just as i rocked up. I thought it was the rain scaring ppl off but apparently there was a defect pit round the back. Thats y i always go in and out the main entrance no matter how bad the line up is.

mine does the same thing, i think its in the tune. When u have a custom tune for more power it tends to stuff around with the other maps ie cold start and run maps.

i've found most quotes are around the $1000 mark for heat treated alloy pipes. Most performance shops makes em as there one of the most common mods.

They postponed it for one day last year because of the heavy rain. So ...it's going to be hot, it might be less humid out there than in Bris. Cancelling would cost them a fortune and is simply not on, We are taking the car out there ....and we will run, doesn't look good for 12's though. Any of you guys make it out there,don't be shy, come and introduce yourselves....you might even get a cold drink. Well we did have plenty of warning......and the warning is now well and truly out for 15+year old cars. Do nothing and they'll be gone.

Just called Famous for a quote on 3rd party fire + thieft and apparently they don't do it! Full comp only, i thought that was a bit odd?!?! Does anyone have any suggestions for thrid party insurance?

c's short shifter looks exactly the same as stock one, just has slightly different angle where the ball is. Thats all it takes to make a very noticable change in distance between gears. U shouldn't have to tear the rubber to remove it, its a press fit with maybe a zip tie holding it in place. All u gotta do to remove the gear stick is pop out the sir clip holding the ball down.
