MicK51 replied to 51jay's topic in For Sale (Private Car Parts and Accessories)
Has never been fitted, no holes made, has thread inserts at ends for fitting. -
where is this 101 place?
-
i can't believe how well that stanza hooks up off the start. That na gemi that was running 12's was pretty sweet too.
-
yeah i was there, did u see a silver 4 door r32 chaos?

I went for a cruise last night, having had no license for the past few months i havn't be out much but my house mate was keen to drive so i thought y not. Was cruising with my mate in his GSR and a couple of crazy rotors from evolution, anyway the point of this thread is the insane amount of skylines that were out! They were everywhere, a pretty much even spread of r32's and r33's. Things have changed since i was last out on the streets, i thought i had blacked out and woken up in toyko at one stage in roma st!

I just pull over, they jump in and away we go :burnout:

Ants I heard the comentators mention it. heh, i didn't realise i'd writen so much untill i posted it I should probably have mentioned Archie's cosmo/berreta rotor but it never really made a clean pass. He was having heaps of transmission issues but ran a few 8sec passes in the end. Tony Khoury's triple turbo triple rotor ford probe also had alot of clutch dramas but ran a couple of 8sec passes on sunday with some nice burnouts. The Pac performance mx6 was running for the 1st time so i wasn't really expecting much, it did mostly shake down passes but pulled a few full noise low 8sec passes. I think he even recorded a flat 1sec 60' time which is just amazing! This car is definatly going to run a 6, they built it in acordence with NHRA rules so i expect its going to go over to the state for a tour.

Did u get a lightened flywheel? They can cause a lumpy idle.

it was an awsome weekend, my mate Nick ran a new PB on both days ending up with a best of 12.04 @ 110MPH in his VR4 powered GSR. He made it too the 3rd round but was beaten by the gold rigoli wrx which ran a mid 9 i think. GTR 700 was a big dissapointment, i understand how hard it is to get a car like that sorted but i was so keen to see it do at least 1 full noise pass. It did a wicked 1/2 track run for his ANDRA licence on sat which reminded me of the HKS R33 GTR luanching at drag combat. He then came back for a demo run but couldn't get it into gear for the burnout and then that was it! Didn't even see it in the pits today :`( The croyden GTR from NZ did well on sat with a couple of full noise runs. That thing is nuts off the line with the craziest limiter launch's i've ever seen! He lined up today and did a mid 8 sec pass which was great but then that was it! He only ran once on race day! So after all that dissapointment thank god for kier wilson in his JMS R32 skyline! This 3L NOS powered MONSTER of a skyline was the high-light of the weekend for me, almost everytime he came out he ran a 9 sec pass with amazing consistancy and reliability. All on STREET TYRES!!!! Theo ran a 10 in his R32 GTR and also entertained the people with big burnouts including one which went to 3/4 track!!! The www.101motorcafe.com R33 GTR won the modified street class with consistant low 11 sec passes and great promotional girls! and then there were the rotors, spluttering and brapping there way into stage and doing some very impresive wheel stands. Apart from "smoking" Joe Signorelli's amazingly consistant 7 sec runs the rest of the rotors didn't really go all that quick compared to past jambo's. Noticely absent were some of the quicker PAC Performance cars, these guys usally rock up with heaps of 8 sec cars and even a few 7 sec ones. Angus from fullboost.com.au had his RX7 going with an amazing 580rwhp this car was a weapon and Angus was aiming for 9's. After a rocky start on sat, which resulted in a shattered gearbox, he burnt some mid night oil and replaced the box but unfortunetly broke the radiator when it came down off the jack. Last min repairs were done and he ended up running a wheel standing 9.99!! NZ's fastest fwd was a bit of a fizzer, the quickest i saw it run was a high 10 i think. The integra lost its title to the My105 Online front wheel drive CRX which ran a low 9. Dom Rigoli's new red wrx wagon set the new 4 cylinder 4WD record with a very quick 9.1 sec pass The freestlye motocross riders finished off the day with a jump made out of 2 trailers that were towed onto the track. Unfortunetly the 1st guy to jump it overshot the landing by about 2m and broke both his ankles! The other 2 guys carried on with the show and pulled some sweet tricks including huge no hander landers! All in all it was a good weekend of racing and i can't wait till next year! With a bit of luck i'll be racing my R32 with some RB25DET power and hopfully some 12sec passes ;D

how about a big cruise to jamboree?
-
mines called shazza
-
sounds good nismoman18, Ross said the full track would be open for raceing on 14th of December but if u can organise something sooner i would be keen. this little car ROCKED! R33 turbo and a belt driven supercharger feeding into a HUGE intercooler that then feed 2 BMW carbies. It sounded AWESOME on the track, massive brakes on it insured for some crazy late brakeing and drifting action too. The TAZ Performance RX7 was a higlight too, smokeing em up in a straight line up the hill, i think that car is being preped for jamboree... it certainly looked like a drag setup.

Pics r here , u guys can just link to em and add some comentry if u like :burnout: Thats me driving Jays car, the track was a shortend version of the full circuit and measured about 700m i think. It was VERY tight, i didn't get any higher then 3rd gear all day, was hitting about 160kph down the straight. My car didn't make it unfortunetly, a flat tyre and the late arrival of my air oil seperator led to Jay and i taking turns trying to keep his car off the wall all day
-
that was in jays car, in my car i ran a 13.7 @ 100MPH. u can see what i ment by "bogging" the start in that 2nd vid
-
13 flat isn't bad for a stocka, i think nissan quote 12.8 for the 34 GTR.
-
best was a 13 flat i think
