Im looking to sell my current get around car to get something a little more up to date... Its a 1992 Nissan Maxima 3L V6. - 239,000kms, mechanically very sound - power steer/windows/cruise/AC - rebuilt gearbox (with receipts) - new radiator/waterpump fitted before last summer (with receipts) - mp3 CD player and amplifier, pioneer front speakers, no rears atm but all wiring there. - good tyres all round on 15 inch Alloys - rego until mid June CONS: -The body is pretty straight in all but does have a few pin dents and scratches, and the front bumper bar could prob do with a repaint. (in general, paint very good and polishes up very well) - 3 of the power windows dont work, im not sure if they need a new motor or just fallen out of tracks ($100 each i was quoted from a wrecker), but the drivers window does work fine. - the knob for the heater/ac control is broken, but all still works fine. MC doyles at edwardstown has a very good rep, price might be a bit high tho. Ive had good experience with marion crash on marion road, although they couldnt keep with there dead line but the quality of work was excellent Ive also used a place called Greg Nelson crash on brighton road, much cheaper then the above mentioned and still pretty good, u get what u pay for, for the most part, but probably best value for money by far. cheers

I went, only because i scored a free ticket. Tiz a good point skipppy makes tho - surely they could find a better sponsor then VB!!... in the end i pretty much sat around for 3 hours just so i could see the real cars come out... i.e. the production series and the porsche cup

Hey there, im going a full system so for sale is... 2 x jun BL (yes junbl, not a copy) mufflers with all hooks and about 1.5 metres worth of 3 inch piping, flanged at the end. will suit pretty much any car as bolt on or easy modification. pics can be seen at www.pbase.com/luceupdate after 220 ono ( thats 110 per muffler, they cost 400 EACH new!) originally purchased from and put together by marky mark at Exhaust tech (ADL) cheers Aj. __________________

Hey there, ive decided to get rid of my boost guage and go for a digital one which integrates into the dash to fit the style of the car a bit better. Its a 2 and 5/8 inch guage (i think) and comes with cup and mounting bracket, all in excellent condition. EDIT: will consider trade + cash adjustment for items of interest such as rear muffler/turbo timer or r33 gtst standard wheels. 100 ono cheers. (Adelaide)

Dam, that looks exactly like the kind of place im looking for!! im guessing it would require me to have the shocks out and sent to Qld for a certain period of time to do tho, which means my cars off the road and i cant get to work etc :S i need this kind of joint in adelaide! thanks for that mate. coh btw - its got a .au on the end

Gday, im after a place that is able to recondition standard shocks or atleast repair collapsed shocks. Apart from having Bilstein remake one of mine which involves sending the shock to NSW and back and lots of $$ im not having much luck. The car is a mazda Luce, so havnt had any luck finding a non standard replacement. cheers for any help Aj.

Hey guys, im getting some parts together to make my exhaust, so im after a GOOD rear muffler. Prefer a brand name, and not one of those nasty 100 dollar cannons. Needs to keep the noise down and have a nice tone and be relatively big in size. Any suggestions, or show us what u got. appreciated, cheers. Aj.

Hey again guys, looks like i have some springs lined up. As far as shocks, im still stumped... monroe and pedders are the only local brands ive found and they are both not that great and terribly overpriced! :bonk: Ive heard a brand called Tanabe makes shocks for the HC3S Luce?? I have no idea how or where to find this out or going about possibly getting some. Can anyone help me out with a site or even a number or any info on the shocks and getting them? cheers Alex.

Yeah i have found that to be the case also. Springs which were approximately 120AUD look to cost me about 280 to get to my door... unless anyone else thinks they can do better for me hehe? However even for 280 im struggling to find any springs of the same specs in Australia.... and for equipment such as coilovers, the only option here is to have some made up by say whiteline or bilstein for example... and that would be way more expensive then something decent + shipping off yahoo. Speaking of wheels, does anyone know who would be good to go thru and approximate shipping costs for a complete set of wheels? I was thinking probably in the order of 4-500 bux? cheers
