  1. possibly! Just curious as ive seen people advertising stuff on here that isnt quite what they make it out to be...anyway. thanks for the details though.
  2. Hey I got the boost control kit. Now i got two leads for this...one for pressure sensor which plugs into the side of the powerfc itself...ok i get that, but what i cant figure out is where the hell the other plug from the solenoid itself goes into. it has a two pin plug on the end which looks very generic one spade facing vertical and the other horizontally, one above the other. I cannot for the life of me find a female plug for it to go into. I figured since were using the powerfc ecu, you would plug the new solenoid into the original solenoids plug as it will get controlled by the ecu itself and not the avcr controller as it would if you had it stand alone. the destructions are in ninja, i cant read it and i cannot find a eng version on the apexi americano site. Can anyone help, who may have installed one themselves? Cheers.
  3. umm we paid about 260 something, but the guy we deal with is a friend, so we got it abit cheaper then normal...however cubes got his delivered for $280 i think (that right cubes). But for a brand new afm, i think anywhere upto 300 bux is reasonable, considering people ask that or more for 10+ year old second hand ones. You would have to check with your local bosch distributor and see what they say.
  4. obviously it would be t3 flanged? Is it ball bearing? Cheers. Sorry bout all the questions. but im very interested in it.
  5. hopefully this might help...its all i could get.. I got mine from petroject..which are now called automotive solutions i think. Cheers.
  6. fidel have you actually sold anything and sent it out to them? Cause after the turbo drama a few months back i thought you would have learnt from it.

  8. I think JUN make a great deal of high performance parts for rb engines. I dont think specifically for a trust/greddy turbo, unless your referring to the size. Then your question might be close to something like do they make the parts to build up a motor to handle a 1000bhp trust/greddy turbo such as a t88? Maybe you should enquire with a store that sells JUN products and they could prob answer your questions better.
  9. sweet...i think your gonna wheelspin all the way down the 1/4. Will be interesting to see what it runs. Keep us posted.
  10. That would sound accurate to me, since mine seems to bounce off around that point. Ive always noticed the difference of about 200-300 rpm from my dash tacho (when its working) and the tacho on my avc-r.
  11. how old is the turbo exactly?
  12. No idea, and no idea...sorry not much help there. But my clutch kit was about 900 bux, got it from coventry. clutch plate, pressure plate, throwout bearing. I have no idea what the force rating is on the pressure plate. I would recommend the exedy one though, i thought $900 was cheap for what it is. I was expecting a slipping clutch at high rpm dumps, but nothing as yet.
  13. Ive got an exedy single plate 3 puck ceramic clutch and its holding with 260+ rwkws in my 33. Hasnt slipped yet, worked fine at drags also. Didnt slip with 255 semi slicks at willowbank.
  14. good to see it worked out...didnt add up though. sorry for the negative comment mate. Everyone is weary after all the scamming that was going on..makes ya think twice before ya buy anything on here from someone interstate.
  15. what sort of power is it rated at? and what size is the rear housing? Cheers.
  16. ECR033 basically covered it, No mods required for the z32 it will fit into your intake piping. Only thing you need to mod is the wiring as shown in cubes guide. But you will need to change it over in the PFC for the car to run. Matter of selecting the z32 afm with your commander. Just another note, you also have the option of purchasing a brand new bosch z32 afm for about 260-280 bux from bosch or a distributor instead of going for a 10+ year old second handy or a $400 brand new tomei one from nengun or the likes. Cubes and myself both have one of the bosch type and they work perfectly fine. Also, the q45 is larger in diameter and it has an even higher resolution in comparison to the z32, thus allowing the car to read even more airflow. Hope that makes it a little easier.
  17. I thought the gt series turbos by hks were only t25 flanged. only non gt stuff was possibly t3 flanged? Is that right? If you got it you would need mani with right flange or a t25->t3 flange adapter.
  18. yes i installed mine in a 33 gtst, its not as simply as everyone might think. running the lines neatly and securely, and making custom brackets to hold everything. I found the brackets is what took me the longest to do, bout an hour in itself. All up about 2 hours with abit of mucking around doing an unrushed good quality job for first time. Id imagine 2nd time would be alot quicker.
  19. If you are taking box and engine out as one, make sure someone watches the back of the crossmember so you dont flatten or destroy power steering lines and related items, cause ive seen that happen many a time. If your taking it out at night, make sure you got lights underneath and ontop of car so you can see everything from every angle, cause when your tired and half pissed the shadows conceal stuff that eventually gets ripped or busted off along the way out If its all new to you, dont rush it. Simple as that.
  20. haha what IS legal these days? Cops are doing their best to try and stop us from doing our best.
  21. INASNT im in noway saying the sard 550's are direct replacement, far from it i reckon, needing the damn collars. I was referring to if he got some nismo sort which are from what ive heard supposed to be a real direct replacement injector. If so, then they might not supply new o rings with them, but require you to get a new set or reuse the old ones from the std injectors.
  22. i got the same setup you have except i kept the standard rail...less money to spend and less buggerising around. wanna make ya rail look good, paint the outside...maybe get it chromed or zinc plated. But if ya dont i havent seen or heard of any a/m side feed rails. Question. Did you reuse the std throttle body, or did you source a q45 infiniti throttle body?
  23. I wouldnt think those mods would help resolve the problem. Because its got the larger ass you need to increase exhaust flow to effectively decrease the lag associated with it. You would probably need camshafts and/or a inlet&exhaust adj cam gears to help that problem if you were going to go ahead with it. Maybe even just a exhaust wheel, retard timing and let more gas pass through. The only thing there that would even come close to helping is prob the dump to free up the flow so theres no backpressure.
