the jdm stuff which is the category in the state championships is a full weekends of racing. Goes over both saturday and sunday with scrutineering, two lots of qualifying and one race sat and the other two races sunday.

I never thought i would say this, but i dont think i want anymore power now, maybe just abit more response if that can be achieved with the cams 4 straps on the dyno just to keep it from wheelspinning, it was pretty scary and insane to watch it kick sideways on the rollers constantly. sorry to hijack your thread noel, so hows your beast coming along? who knows...pull off your oil feed line to the turbo and let it spit into a bucket for a while and then hook it back up. Once it spits abit out of the line there should be oil pretty well everywhere else. It doesnt take long for it to work its way through the motor.

need to change the relief spring to a weaker one. Sump off job. also +1 for billet. Talk to mark, hes a great guy. Awesome turbos too.

they are annoyingly loud things. I work just around the corner on pinacle street and we can hear them from the factory. Plus all the extra traffic blocks up the streets around the area plus kids all over the place. Its abit dangerous for an industrial estate with trucks and whatnot around all the time. They are good fun to watch. They seem out of place being so small and intricate though.

We will be out fo shizzle. I posted about this in the qld events section, but it seems that not many people are actually into motorsport these days. Well, atleast real motorsport, ie. circuit racing, i think the general population are more simple minded and enjoy the likes of drag racing or the even more pointless form of drifting. Its sad.

That is a standard genuine nissan ecu duncan. We have one also in our circuit car. Best standard nissan sm4 going around at the moment

were using the shock proof light i think it is, the blue one which ppg recommended for the box. We dont have a box in pieces unfortunately, however i reckon the mini catch can with drain back would work well for it.

is that the design so far shane? Fark dont make it too complicated mate, it will take ages to build.

and only the rear wheels driving the car. Mark and russell would do even faster times if they were on full slicks. But the point is with only two wheel drive its hard to compete with a very well setup gtr whilst on semis. I know, already tried it. Lately weve been running around on hoosier semi's and those times were done on r6's. It would seem that if you had two evenly powered and evenly weighted cars the 4 wheel drive one would be quicker everytime. The difference is that of running full slicks to semi's between the two, or so it has seemed over the last year or two.

yeh eugene your bug is annoying! Well im about 2 seconds off the pace if i wanna win the next championship round in two weekends time. I reckon i have a second in me by getting my lines right and pushing it harder, but another second....that will be hard to achieve. Giants car is quick and well respected, but there are quicker cars out there just not as popular or well known.
