Unfortunately i missed out saturday arvo due to blown turbo from the practice that morning. But my first time on the sprint track at topgear on sunday and my best time was a 56.4 which isnt too bad. Need more experience on that track, its tricky with our car.

ryan we have the same problem also, after a good days racing normally in the arvo when everything is hot or getting hotter, we tend to lose oil.

Yeh, car was going good till we blew the turbo. Some rubber bits blocked the oil feed and it ceased the turbo from an obvious lack of oil. That sucked cause i needed the practice on the sprint track for the state championship rd in two weeks But we found another gt35r to use on sunday thanks to Daniel - elite racing man!

Yeh i was there also and got to watch their 32gtr, christ it is bloudy fast, and will only be faster when the new motor and suspension goes in. mark sure knows how to steer the car well, was a great morning to watch.

the boxes are great, pretty well what russ has said about them is spot on, as we both know from experience. Dog rings wear like a mofo, but as said they can be cleaned up to be used again before having to replace them. Full set of dog rings is about 1k. I finally got over the mental block in my head about changing with the clutch on upshifts. Fark its great, change so fast with just a slight lift off the throttle. Pull the lever easily and it just slots into the next gear, so long as the revs are high enough. I found in the lower revs if your changing without the clutch, you need to rev match with a blip so it slots in or else it will crunch also. Obviously rev matching on downshifts is a necessity and used in conjuction with the clutch.

i was there and saw the 32 go round...it is damn fast and its not even finished yet. The japs wont know what hit them. While russ and mark had a good run, we blew a turbo the same morning Seems a perishing rubber line that supplies oil somewhere had bits building up in the turbo oil feed, blocked the hole and ceased the turbo. P.S I love the doors russ, so light. Im telling ya mate, full slicks. Try a few runs on a set, you will wet yourself with the amount of traction you will get over the hard semis.

only problem with stock track r33's is that aint that quick, for fun fair enough, to be competitve i cant see it happening. And only because i have been there and done that.
