  3. They can not introduce retrospective laws, without compensation
  4. power fcs have a few base maps, so you can limp it to the tuners, to get it tuned properly
  5. no, i meant that beacuse of money, rb20s are becoming popular engine swaps for s13s, as opposed to SRs, which are generally double the price
  6. has it been run in? 100% tread on original tyres? If i had the money, i'd consider it... they are one of teh coolest

    Help With Epa

Finally got internet back the other day say now i can whinge; Coming home from springnats last weekend, some stupid crackpot hippy was under the impression my car is too loud. So long story short, i need an exhuast, preferably stock. If anyone could direct to a shop, wrecker, or know someone that is willing to sell theirs, could you please let me know. Help would be appreciated asap. (Oh, also, i have already done a search, nothing particularly useful came up...) EDIT: Sorry, it is for an r32 gtst, i only need the cat back bit, to borrow or buy More Edit: I need to organise this asap, otherwise i will need to ring around. to give an idea of how loud it is when it resonates, i set of a car alarm in a carpark last night... is that too loud? anyway, all help is much appreciated
  9. try nengun performance, for a tomei hicas lock, shipping takes a few weeks, but the prices are very appealing
  10. Ichiban, ekw, rolin imports, just jap, sss automotive, stz automotive, there are a few other good places... I am also looking for a RB20det, to put in to an r31, so if anyone has any recomendations, please go on....
  11. it is ~5cm longer than the 2 door
  12. Yeah bracks is a very traditional greek name
  13. what is the power a the fly? Although this is not the greatest loss of power; MOTOR's muscle car test, last year, showed the 300kw GTS only has 210kw at the wheels, and i also know that a Ford 9" diff can chew up as much as 30% more of the power as the original diff
  14. Yeah, i found out when a bunch of crazy muzzas went past in there car. I thought the alarm was going off, thats how frequently the horn was being used
  15. Extensive tests were done, some of which were displayed in a recent issue of Zoom of HPI (can't remember which). Basically, it needed some serious retuning; heavy increase in fuel, as it is less dense, and a huge advance of the timing, with a 16 rwkw increase over normal 98 ron fuel.
  16. For 32s; 1; The RB20DET is the only engine option for a turbo 32 (non gtr), but this is offered in both two and four door guise, as well as two weel and four wheel drive. (GTSt and GTS4) 160kw and 263 Nm. 2. Some rust can be a problem with earlier 32s, in the boot and under the rear guards, also there is an extensive guide on here to purchasing a skyline (try a search) 3. Exhaust, high flowed or aftermarket turbo (ceramic tubrine is quite an achile's heel) FMIC (as SMIC can be restricting) ECU, (Power FCs are popular, although the AP engineering ones for 32s, are more expensive, and harder to come by) Boost controller Fuel system; injectors, pump, fuel pressure rise regulator Clutch, brake pads (possibly discs if circuit work is intended) After that cams and internals are generally next on the list. 4. R32s, depending on which type you are after (GTSt, Type M, GTS4...) Can go for as little as $10K, but $12-15 would be reasonable, $15+ for something special or immaculate, although at this price, 33s in good nick are also options. 5. I have a set of Tein HAs. Almost every other car i have used since getting my 32 feels like a boat. 6. Love the shape, and they are great fun! Whatever you get, enjoy!
