  4. on the bathurst old track, before hulme died, the gtrs ran sub 2:15s, as low as 2:13's which was extremely quick. The (Winfield) GTR crashed in 92, and as many others had crashed, the race was red flagged, giving the gtr the win. Awesome stuff, I also want to get hold of the video, so if anyone has an idea as to where to get it, please tell

  8. NSW can do that ^, if the same law applies in your own state, but if your liscence and own state rules permit you to drive what you currently are, then there shouldn't be a problem. The problem with insurance is it has to be where the car is garaged, so switching between states and registrations could be a problem
  9. The insurance companies don't pay out because the car is being driven illegally... so you haven't really got many options
  10. my home is the sticks But now I have my car, and school will be finished... forever
  11. Menthu Rae, I think this is in reference to the SEVS or RAWS register (?) So the others may have been brought in under the old system. Meaning this is the only one been brought in since RAWS and SEVS were implemented
  12. Sorry dude but you are wrong. I don't mean to argue, but if you delve into it enough, only 7% of fatal crashes include speed as a major factor. Over 70% of fatal accidents however happen at intersections. Might I add that the local council, since repainting the lines at a major intersection nearby, has only got themselves to blame for accidents that occur; The right hand turning lines run to close together Speed also means speeding; your speed relative to the traffic around you, not going the speed limit or sitting on a comfortable and safe speed for the area you are driving in. If 'speed' was a contributing factor, then the only accident you could have without speed being a major factor is one where neither car is moving. :)
  13. Na's have 4 stud, and turbos have 5 (generally, there are a few exceptions I think), unless a conversion has been done Are you 100% it was a gtst? because it doesn't sound like it...
