my brother and his mate were working on cop cars, a holden and a ford, at their respective dealerships. The fords discs were badly cracked and damaged, and the holdens were so thin that they had little effect at all. From my understanding (prob little,) highway patrol (etc) cars, such as the SS's, XR8s and GTs have a chip, but not much else

once the features of the vb forum is returned, (quick reply, smilies etc etc) this one should be quicker, and apparently with much more add ons. I am getting used to it, and would like to congratulate the mods for doing this; a fresh, welcome upgrade

a stock BA falcon (non turbo) has same power, and (more?) torque. Against a turbo, it wouln't have a chance

Are their other common places 32's get rust? Could we get a list going? I know mine has a little surface rust under the bonnet, near the firewall. I will remove that shortly

yeah ^^^ Do a search, I remember seeing something on how to remove it. You cut a wire (possibly 53 from ecu?) or modify a fuse or something

a 'boat anchor' (253) in a stock VB is slower than the 202. Naturally aspirated, (assuming it hasn't had the $H!t stroked out of it,) it would be impossible to acheive those sort of figures without changing every component of the engine; ditch the POS carby for a $$$ fuel injection system, Custom made head with 4 or 5 valves per cylinder, Quad cams, and $$$$ of development. the fastest street REGISTERED (not street legal,) are running high 8's or low nines at best, (Keir Wilsons GTR, Munros GTR etc,) The fastest street registered V8s are doing poorly in comparison, let alone street legal cars. Most simply can't get the traction to get such a time

realistically, you can't squeeze too much power out of a falcon without forced induction, so... making the car lighter will make it faster...
