    Hooray

Hooray for me! I got my licsence the other day, and am picking up my 'line in 2-3 weeks
  2. to quote stan from south park; "I once saw two guys making out in a park, and i thought that that was the gayest thing I ever saw... until I saw this"
  3. :werd:
  4. NA cars have also been blacklisted, inlcudin all porsches, nsx, 350z et al.
  5. This talk is best left to other forums, See thread on XR6Turbo forum, I also don't condone or advocate drag races on the street. However, very nice Clubbie (?) It's good to see the australian muscle cars getting some balls back after they were ripped out of them by the beaurocrats in the late 70's. Love all the oldschool 8's, and the new Clubbie and (FPV) GT are great cars
  6. I am very curious as to the cost of a bare metal respray, and would like a few tips, as this is an option I am considering
  7. I had an issue of Zoom a while back, and it had a '9 Sec car for under 9 grand' It was a capri or escort, with a 351. Can't remember details though
  8. I don't mean to be too offensive, but what are you whinging about??? I would kill (one person in particular) to have Carr as a Premier. He is one of the greatest premiers in australian history. ^^^^ The same problems have already happened in vic, and with the exception of the P Plater rule, much much much much worse too. Fixed speed cameras' that can single-handedly raise over $400,000 of "Revenue" each week. Thousands of these are these are scattered around the state. 3km/h leeway doesn't coincide with manufacturer's error. Victorian Police Vicroads Licsence when 18 125kw per tonne (which was worse, but for once NSW is getting the bad end of the stick) Steve Bracks 800% increase in Land tax Highest stamp duty in country highest registration costs etc etc You really should consider yourselves lucky. Except with the new p plater rule NOW that, that is a crock of $H!T
  9. umm...ya. Driving along the hume last year, going north from melbourne, near mickelham road (at the outskirts of melbourne, if you know the place) I was driving our cruiser, and the police and ambulances were everwhere, a landcruiser was 3m up a light post, folded in two.
  10. Yeah,, even worse in rural/regional victoria. In the city they are spending money, not jsut on speed cameras. In the country, they are making tax hikes, introducing laws against breathing and other ridiculous sh%#
  11. For some reason, they think they know whats good for us
  12. 5 people in a stock commo', drifting in the streets, but put a lot of emphasis on the fun time, not danger. It would be fun, entertaining and.... not really that helpful...
  13. I've drifted a S13 on complex string, on GT3. (I have GT4, but haven't drifted yet). Complex string has so many corners
  14. "patrol", I too was looking forward to a thread about petrol
  15. why is the T'rana there? isn't it a little out of it's league/caategory/age etc.
  16. not bad... pity about the english, though.
  17. We constitutionaly have no rights, "These people", they make their own power, and you live in NSW. What the hell are you whinging about?... Come down mexico way for a while, 3km/h leeway faulty speed and red light cameras every 50 metres and intersection, cops who are by law given benefit of the doubt/leniancy/trust/beleif etc. from judges, a system where you are guilty until spending months and countless money to prove yourself right, and this is just the tip of the iceberg. Ohhh, but other than that, yeah, I agree What is worse is that a 92% increase in fines below 10km/h over the speed limit has coincided with a 2% decrease in the road toll, which actually deviates from the pre speed camera trend o 3.7%, so in real terms, the toll has increased after the introduction of fixed speed cameras
  18. If I was in power... (dreams happily), legalizing murder for vandalising 'Lines would be a high priority
  19. do you have any other pics? engine bay etc.
  20. V8s are legal. I could have 183 cylinders if i wanted to as long as it was under 3.5 litres per tonne ... the rule is 3.5 litres per tonne and 125 kw per tonne... little does your average P Plater know that they can drive pre AU V8 Falcons and pre VT V8 Commodores, I was considering this, but fuel economy is better in a six, and the insurance (can be) cheaper.
  21. Agreed
