unless it is a letter to the epa, and you explain that the noise and smoke made your girlfriend (who HAS to be a tree of some sort) cry. It is also really god if you know the officer's private car plates/vehicle.

HERE is what you wanted to know: Trevor Simpkin runs a shop just south of andrew Vibert's CVAP, that does dyno tuning. Clint and Jase at extreme engineering in kyabram also have a dyno.

it is just getting a condition changed, it shouldn't be that big of a deal

the only way out of this is, (in vic anyway) if you have a receipt for a booking at the rta. not sure if it is the same in nsw.

there are so many other issues. aftermarkte kits don't have to deal with large warranties. aftermarket kits don't require ongoing support, replacement parts etc. they are c\/nts for people to work on. if you have a single turbo (normall in front of motor) you lose one of the main reasons for changing to a v6; room. Ever worked on a commodore 6? absoulte cops. easily the worst motor ever. (http://www.calaisturbo.com.au/showthread.php?t=111116) twins sound like a cool idea, but new cars are getting uglier and uglier, with shorter and shorter noeses; ie, less room. VE's have the battery in the boot AND no room in the engine bay. banging twins down near the gearbox is a cool idea. so is auto trans lines bulging and splitting. my bro's hachi melts passenger side shoes and that is na. turboes get way hotter. servicabilty jsut goes up the $hit. on an inline six, the difference between a turbo and a non turbo, design wise, is a matter of free space. on a new v6 car, there is none. if you think there is, replace the banjo bolt washers on 300zx turbos, with the motor still in the car, until you see differently. i hate v6s. they did want to. hsv abandonded the plan after discovering how small the engine bay was going to be. but like was stated, most of the holden performance market have v8 stamped on their heads. an australian car company wouldn't have anywhere near the engineering capabilites of nissan. (see calais turbo link:) holden's alloygay, (and previous ecogay, and pre-ecogay) are all bastard variants of the 1953 buick v6, with each less potential than the other (much like the 308/304s) Camshaft overlap of the v6 proves much less boost friendly than the venerable falcon 6 aswell. the ford 6 is a much better motor, from almost every perspective.

projector lights were an option i think. series one and two, they changed the offical weight 30kg, and not much else. there is a guide on what to look for on here somewhere.

I have three mates who are full blown alco's from loss of licence. All cuold have used a 'reduced sentence bigger fine' deal, as all have funds. but instead the government taught them a lesson in 'losing your job and getting blind drunk every night'. Jim beam at first. now it's peach wine and sunnyvale medium white.

The two XF turboes that mates of mine built (Budget $50 inc car and turbo) looked much bettter. Simple gas converter, random turbo diesel turbo. great fun

I know this is not much help, but a speedo specialist will be your best help. What sort of car is it in? R32's have a mechanical cable (but your speedo would have dropped out too) R33's are electrical. So it is something in the dash.

Diagnosing Faulty Coil Packs/ Ignitor
Mulkers replied to Mulkers's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
does that mean i have to replace each one with a known working one? What if said known working one fails? (This happened on an ef in work) i had a problem with a serious misfire on my old motor. New motor has similar sound. So i have two sets of coils, and am not confident that any are good. How do i test them? What if half arent working? if two or more arent working, then replacing with a known good one may not make a noticable difference -

Diagnosing Faulty Coil Packs/ Ignitor
Mulkers replied to Mulkers's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
anyone? With all the problems people have with RB's coils, surely someone knows how to identify/fix the problem? -
Yes i have searched. No i will not take it to an auto elec /mechanic Is there a better way of diagnosing faulty coil packs other than trial and error of replacing each one with a good one, one by one? How do you diagnose a faulty ignitor? What if two or more coil packs have failed? If cylinders 4 and 5 are suspiciously clean, and all other plugs are fouled up (fuel) could the 4th and 5th injectors be blocked? could it be the loom?

Do you have a photo? How much has been cut?
