  1. I Think the reference was to small car with a V8, not a small V8. 5000? etc
  2. hate to rain on your parade but unfortunately mostly the answer is no. The gearbox, especially the clutch don't cope for too long with a heavy footed driver and an RB20. The box will have to switch as well. The diff is just as an essential a swap, as this is just as likely to go. The RB25 electronics have to come aswell, although i am (unfortunatley) not very familiar with the Apexi Power FC. Are you getting a half cut or just an engine? Even if you are getting just the engine, it should come with the essentials. Cheers. Have fun... this is what I plan on doing once I am of off my P's
  3. Six Pack Chargers? Cortina GTs? etc. There have been several muscle cars that are not 8 cylinder. Plus the A9X's produced for Le Man, were old school twin turboed! You can't tell me an A9X Torana is not a muscle car! Also, Muscle cars are called such because of their muscle. They had/have large torque becuase of large displacement. Any one know that Chev made a factory 502 for the 67-69 Camaro. That is over 8 Litres!
  4. "S... an R34 GTT with equiv rubber, front mount, PFC and exhaust was 3 seconds quicker around Phillip Island then one of those big banger FPV GT Falcons...yeh Fords are so good  I cant recall the details but in the Bang For Buck and Performance Car of the Year Motor articles they normally get hammered by even the SV8 in outright lap times around circuits." But did they mention the quaity? aestheitcs? ride? economy? resale? etc. Cars aren't chosen purely for their performance, which is something that many a Commonwhore owner has their focus on. Besides, a GT/GT-P makes more ponies than any holden. It was Motor themselves, that proved this. The GT had 220kw at the wheels, the GTS 200kw, the XR6 Turbo 180 kw. Who cares about the power at the crank? It is at the wheels, and more importantly torque that will get you places.
  5. I got this picture of car domain on Monday, September 15, 2003, 8:05:30 PM. Either this guys dodgy or he is a stupid bullsh*t artist
