No, it is at the bottom of the inlet manifold. Everything else is connected, and the same fitting isn't on any other rb20 i have seen yet. It looks like an 8, maybe 10mm barb. So i am stumped. I am going to put a hose on it, run it up in the engine bay, and when it starts, see if it squirt water, or air:). and then block it off. I got the collar of the crank yesterday, and intended on putting the new spigot bush in, but mum "Cleaned" the shed In doing so, my spigot bush grew legs and went walkabout. So i have had to get another. And now that it is the weekend, it wont get done until at least next week Should be banging again next week. Can't wait. Seems i have most of it sorted now. Any tips for putting the new spigot bush in? Thanks 33pig for your help. DIY is best learn heaps, and save the extremely small amount of money i have. Everyone else's cars are starting to pump again after being off of the road for at least 6 months; 3 mates with vlts, one mate with a ca18 bluebird etc. Should be fun.

"They're obviously hooning around and it is absolutely illegal to kill kangaroos . . . they're on our national emblem." What they did was clearly wrong, but this police officers statement is also pretty ill founded. People can legally kill kangaroos all the time. Some do it for a living. You can walk in to your local coles/woolies/safeway etc and buy kangaroo meat. That aside, that $hit is pretty f()cked up, and so is calling them hoons. Infact 'hoon' should be a banned word.

Ass is right, (AGAIN ) The weight is always a factory figure, modifications only refer to increases in power, which again works against you. Your only option is to upgrade to an r32/r31 etc To get a car Enginereed cost hundreds, if not thousands of dollars. To get a car ADR Approved (EPA Etc), you can be looking at upwards of $50,000. It is so unfeasible it is impossible. This hurts my head. Every post just gets more and more idiotic.

Sort of. Under the new laws; P Platers aren't allowed to drive cars where "modifications to a car in order to increase it's performance" are present, as well as nominated high performance 4's, 6's, 8s, Charged, and also cars above Power To weight. It is so clear and has been said so many times. If you dont get your licence before july 1 2007, get a corolla or something (and a track/drift/drag car on the side (and a trailer)) until you get off your P's. Alternatively, move to a good state.

R32 Rb20det Oil Pressure Sensor
Mulkers replied to Mulkers's topic in R Series (R30, R31, R32, R33, R34)
Is it because of different series? -
I am most of the way through putting a new motor in my r32. The old sensor is blue, and the new one yellow. What is the difference? Will i have to change over the two?

i am an apprentice mechanic, and am trying to do this on my own, and only have 55c to my name at the mo. Some of these are also questions that are skyline specific, so i would have thought that the skyline community would have some useful knowledge.

I asked a friend, and he said to chisel the collar out. ok. Fair enough. I have found another problem though. On the new inlet manifold, behind the last injector, is a barbed fittting, for a hose to go on to. This is different to my manifold, and i don't have the slightest clue what it is for. Does it run air or water? Is it ok if i just cap it off? Does it have something to do with the auto transmission?

Some constructive criticism; mods may not (usually dont,) increase the value of a car. In fact, chances are it will decrease it. (ie. mint unmodified VL Calais Turbo's are fetching upwards of $20k, but modded examples may only be able to get half of this) If I was in the market for another skyline, each of the mods are looked at as almost disposable. Electronics age very quickly, and in 6 months, newer, improved equiptment will be available. Sound deadening, stereos etc; dead weight. I am not willing to pay extra for a slower car. Each to their own. Dealerships prices are, in my opinion, a rip off to begin with. They also often offer waranty, service etc, that can't be offered with a private sale. They number of owners a car has is just as important as the kms, age, and mechanical condition of the car. I would say mid 20's. Good luck with the sale.

Ok. So i got a genuine bush from nissan for $15.20. Now what? How do i remove the collar that the converter sat in? (i think)

Is the bush steel?

And the R32 weighs less. R32s look good with stock wheels. So do DR30's and HR31 imports. R33 series two is not special. it is a fancy hat on a whale. Still does not change the fact it is a whale. (I'd still have one:)) If you want to make a conclusion, start a poll, and get EVERYONE to vote in it. But it is still up to preference.

The Eariler ones are my favourite (gens 3-8) The C210 i sold two weeks ago, and the r32 is mine. The C10, DR30, HR31, and BNR32 are faves because of a strong racing pedigree. There is not one that i dislike, i would happily have any of them (even a late model(square headlight) C210 Sedan with an L18 4 Cylinder, or an MR30 Hatch) I don't really care what a car looks like, as long as it goes hard for what it is AU Falcon.

Yes I have already searched. I am replacing the motor in my manual R32 GTSt Type M. The motor i have bought is auto. Are there any differences other than the missing spigot bush? How big is the spigot bush? Where can i get one of the bushes from? and how much am i looking at?
