  1. It will, but such a slight increase it won't be noticeable. If it is an r32, then boost will be more like stock 10.5psi. Turbo should spool up earlier, and be able to breath better; more power
  2. on a healthy silvertop rb20det, i wouldn't go above 11/12psi, but 10.5 is stock, so is it really worth it? an exhaust for quicker spool time etc would be much better value for money
  3. a few other places also have second and third years going but today i got a call from a place for an interview, so hopefully something will eventuate from this :D
  4. pretty depending on your budget. microtech, 260cc (or larger) injectors, intercooler, dump pipe, exhaust manifold, turbo, decompression plate... not really much else needed. You could use all vlt parts, but the loom is apparently different, so you would need to use an aftermarket computer (hence microtech), as well as other things.
  5. i am in the same boat, but i live in the sticks. sucks how 2nd/3rd years are getting all teh opportunities; Bresciani are looking for a 2nd/3rd year.
  6. the actual thing that does it is down below the steering column. It is a little box, and wires go from there to the dash
  7. Where abouts? I was definately there, as were a few mates with vlt's and a couple of r33s. Hell yeah. I am coming to spectate, and i will drag along a few mates as well
  8. There are at least ten people around me (shep + echuca)
  9. There is an 8 foot high statue of a victorian police badge with that exact moto under it on the corner of spencer and flinders street that says other wise. Why don't people understand that the police are there to help us, but like our politicians, manage to do the worst job possible
  10. Mildura is pretty far, what about somewhere more central? Like Bendigo (if there is a dyno?) as it is roughly an hour from shep, echuca, melbourne, and only a a few hours from other places like albury, warnambool and mildura. The main problem is; it happens where the numbers are
  11. Air box= front passenger side. AFM is the first thing between there and the turbo Sorry i don't have a pic
  12. For coupes; The rear occupants access is not to be restricted, so fixed buckets aren't allowed (Exception of cars converted to 2 seats through vic roads because of a rollcage/stripped interior) For Four doors; all is good, as rear occupants have their own doors
  13. GH Sigma Turbo oh yes...
  14. fill it with bolts and nuts and washers etc, and then put as much weld in there as possible.
  15. Use the R32 turbo's actuator.
  16. in vic; $550 for rego $36 (went up end of last year) Rego transfer $8 for every $200 of the car for stamp duty ie 4% Insurance; need to ask an insurance company $As much as you need to/want to spend on Tyres $" " on Fuel $" " on Service $" " on Replacement Parts Cost of Car Modifications So $1000's before you really choose which car you want (unless you get a car for a few hundred dollars, and 3rd party)
  17. Power isn't everything. Rotor's with relatively low power and torque can still pull some quick ETs. Ditto for Rollas, Hondas, etc. Ls1's advantage in a rolling start would largely be in torque. Gear selection, and revs will be your advantage. That said, only an idiot would post on a public forum bragging about street racing.
  18. the 33 kit will fit, but not as well. You will have to do a little extra chopping
  19. All RB ones are the same (? confirm?), and therefore VL ones are. I got mine done yesterday, and the bearings were cheap compared to the radiator hoses ($45 and $75 for bottom and top respectively). If someone can confirm that they are the same bearings, you should be able to do much better getting one from holden, or for an r31 etc, if they are essentially the same. (As i am pretty sure they are)
  20. behind the ash tray, in the center console
  21. South Africa still have teh datsun 1200 ute in production
  22. nice clips
  23. This is awesome. Stops the nuckledraggers putting BB's in to cars, but alows us to still put 'large' engines, like the big block 5k corolla motor in to jap cars.
