I was with a friend not long ago, in his commode. We were returning from another friends place, which passes the golf club in mo town. On old drunk c*** in a red box falcon ute almost side swiped us at ~70 km/h, saw the P's, and then glared at us, shaking his fist. He also was all over the road, and turned too wide running of the road at the next intersection. And this happens often, old people go to the club, smash pots on the pokies and then drive home pissed.

Located An A-lsd On My R33 Gts-t, What Is It?
Mulkers replied to mlttat's topic in R Series (R30, R31, R32, R33, R34)
it is an active lsd. Not sure quite how it differs from the viscous or mechanical ones though. I think it has an electronic controller(?) -
There is a giant badge on the victorian police headquarters, on flinders street west that says otherwise That is the victorian Police motto "Serve and Protect" it's quite hard to see, but its on their website ; http://www.police.vic.gov.au/content.asp?Document_ID=2 Edit: I am sorry, it is 'Protect and Serve', not Serve and Protect.

Base model falcons and commodores are getting close if not over. 190 kw, but they are heavy...

I wouldn't call the cops. Not after my previous experiences, some are good, but the majority of the time it is a major inconvenience. To clarify; My friend (the on with the Vlt, which is stock,) reluctantly accepted said drunk luntic's offer for a ride, to prove that the car was a turbo. This raving drunk lunatic was also throwing VB stubbies and handing out threats to us. -He was smart enough to pick fights with the bouncers at three different pubs. -He also wasn't going home, as bendigo is a fair walk -I was in no way letting him any where near my car, but my mate was stupid enough to let him in his vl, to prove it was turbo, not that it was a 9 second car. that's his business not mine. -The '9 second car' was a stock XD belonging to drunk lunatic. He wouldn't leave us, even after we turned away from him and the silence lasted a good 40 seconds. On a saturday night (at 7pm) in a quiet country town i doubt that they would have anything more important to do. The police just cruise around until ridiculous hours of the morning making sure drunk people dont wreck property, start fights, and pull over cars for rbt's. I don't have a problem with this, but what they did was not right. So i highly doubt that the local police have 'nothing better to do' 'Serve and Protect' my ar$e

the r33 gtr has the second lowest power to weight on there! My car's rego says 1300. And I don't think the fuzz would know that the weights changed in 1991. Interesting that FC rx7s, all evos other than the VII GSR, Familia GTRs etc aren't on the list. Doesn't mean anything though, they'll still do you.

Most police arent aware of this. (as are most forum members,) Recently i was pulled over and the policeman (familyfriend) said that they had been given orders to pull up skyline p platers. They checked that it was not a 2.5 and that the bov was plumbed back. Most wouldn't know that the weights were changed, and just accept that they just pass.

What year is the model? Any mods are supposed to be included in the power to weight figure. As hard and stupid as this is to do, it is the vic roads requirement. The weights are as follows; 2 door 1989 -1991 1260kgs, 158 kws = over limit 1991 -1993 1290kgs, 160kws = below limit 4 door 1989 - 1991 1290kgs, 158 kws= below limit 1991 - 1993 1320 kgs, 160kws = below limit. These are the factory dry weight figures, and power at the fly wheel. A revision was made in 1991, as well as other changes such as the silver/gold GT badges were changed to white and blue or white and red.

This is pretty questionable in its self. Everyones heard the story about the guy who had burglars in his home, rang the police, they said they'd be there in a half hour, he rang back and said he'd shot them and they were there in 30 seconds. They only show up when you least need them, but there has been one exception; (Even then they were useless) Recently a very dangreous violent drunk pr!ck came up to me and a couple of friends, skylines and a vlt, and proceeded to ear bash us that we knew nothing about turbos and that the vlt is not a turbo because it doesn't have an fmic. He said the fastest car he's been in was a street XD that ran 9.00. And that his VH had a 400 BB, then a 350, then it had a 253, then a 202. He was in stubbies, a bluey, thongs, and had a vb stubby in his hand. This guy went for a ride in the vlt, so my mate could prove him wrong. In the mean time my other mate and myself signalled to a passing patrol car to stop, and help us get rid of this deranged lunatic. They stopped, listend to us, and then kept driving, and we didn't see them again until after we had taken our cars and gone. That same mate told me 'They're bastards, but you can't live without them'. I can.

"Type M' Is an options list available to all r32 and r33s. It includes such things as body kits, 4 pot front brakes, adjustable front spoiler, and a bunch of other much less useful things; windscreen antenna, air purifier, illumous skyline garnish etc. 'Type S' were similar options available to the non turbo skylines A list of these options is somewhere on the website. Also, thanks for calling it typem, and not M spec.

Ve Commodore Secrets Revealed
Mulkers replied to monaroCountry's topic in General Automotive Discussion
The secrets out; They're ugly But the base model 'line runs circles around a base commo. I'd take a two door r32 GTS any day over a VNV6 -

Are Xr6 Turbo Drivers The New Commodore Driver?
Mulkers replied to morgsj50's topic in General Automotive Discussion
A lot of them are former commodore drivers -
They all essentially have the GTR runnning gear, and the gtst's rb20det, but the sump is different, to suit the 4wd

Performance loss is 95% give or take, depending on noise
-
must be plumbed back. Apparenlty, the best 'upgrade' bov is a stock gtr one anyway,

Talk to a solicitor, and see if you have a chance, if you had already taken actions to get it fixed, you should have a leg to stand on. Get it dynoed to see how much it is out. This way you should be able to plead a lower speed limit to the judge. Good luck
