  1. give greenline performance a look. Great prices, and aparently shipping is pretty quick http://www.greenline.jp/ good luck. they have brand name lsd centres for ~ $700+ I am going to grab a couple when funds come in. Another place you could try are Garage 13,
  2. Sorry for the newb style question, but i don't really care for bovs, but i do care about my turbo. srbskyline; is that necessary ? Why? Thanks Ash, i will have a look shortly.
  3. How do i 'loosen' the BOV? I have performed several seaches with no such luck. It is currently screwed down a little tight, causing the VL turbo woopwoopwoop noise, which apparently, over the long term, damages the compressor. Help appreciated, Michael

    R33 Turbo

Local cops pulled me up on friday night, went through my engine bay, and made sure that it was the 2 litre, (32) and not a RB25. also that the BOV was plumbed back. These guys have been given a specific instruction, as i know one of them. They also didn't know what the FMIC did.. so a heads up to p platers who have 33s, even the cops who don't know quite what they are doing are looking out for turbo 33's for power to weight.
  5. that is sweet. Would be a nice investment
  6. where are you located, and yes i am interested
  7. how well do they know cars? my oldies wouldnt have known it was a turbo if i didn't tell them; it just has a loud intake Also what state are you in? Do you live in a major city? because if not, insurance may be 1/2
  8. Thermo fans are known to come on later, and if driving in traffic, may not begin to work until the car is very hot. How are the fans located?

  10. the change was from 1260 to 1290 (coupe) and 1290 to 1320 (sedan) the 30kgs was just a more conservative figure, although i dont really know why? Maybe options? there were many pretty useless options (air purifier,) front spoiler adjsuter etc.. other things that changed were the dials- blue on 89/90 models., and the gt badges on the fenders were silver or gold(option), these later became blue and red.
  11. how do you trim the blades???
  12. I would recomend an r32 with the rb25de, with a few mods- exhuast, extractors, and some coilovers. It should be a bit of fun until you can get a snail
  13. welcome to sau enjoy your stay
  14. 32 gts4 is turbo 33 isn't. If all was equal, gts4 wins.
  15. Still gives me the $H!ts though! as for the boost, 1 bar is roughly 14.5 psi. The computer wont like it, the intercooler probably wont, and neither will the engine. 12 psi should be a more appropriate figure. and as stated above, an ecu upgrade should be a priority. I also suggest a front/dump, high flow cat, and an intercooler.
  16. rotors! check out the mazfix website. they have big hp engines for 3-8k
  17. The 040s are known to not run well in the heat. The seem to cavitate (sp?) and are unable to pump a consistent amount fuel. What car is this for? Do you have a fuel pressure regulator. I was also reading threads yesterday, where people claimed it became excessively noisy, would not pump when fuel tank was below 12l, and was flowing inconsistent amounts of fuel, as well as frothing it up. hope this helps. My advice; wait for it to cool down, and next time try to leave it in a shady area. (I found this out the hard way yesterday.)
  18. GTSt v GTS4; t will win, as it is quite lighter. power is same at fly (158kw) and there is potentially less power at wheels in gts4, as more drivetrain may consume more power. my 2c
  19. what car is this for?
  20. sweet. bets to get my membership organised. Btw, this is local... for me
  21. no nate, i think this is very important JK. Mods should block/delete this... whatever you feel is best
  22. Yeah, a couple of litres of crc or wd40 always does the trick
  23. Apexi ECV- ~$300 from nengun. Technically illegal, but does the job for sure
  24. Yeah, the bass from the 6.5 inches sure puts the old ones in their place. I was just looking for better quality, not an all out system, and i think i have acheived that. Thanks
