  3. oh and this was her before when she still had the little 4 cyl that took a beating! thats right boys, she used to actually turn on lol..

  5. Some more of the car, It had full interior and everything, not something you find often where i am. but it had to come out, as well as the tar that's all over the car, i used dry ice. i recommend it , super easy super fast results. after that i spent a couple hours wire brushing the areas where tar was and then painted. Then i had to get to the chassis wiring , pulled it all out and deleted what i didnt need and rewired/loomed/relocated everything under the dash. and one last picture of car with no motor inside alot easier to move it around with that r33 vlsd thought so i cant complain
  6. As far as progress on my Rb26, been a little sidetracked with christmas and all but I dropped the Valve covers and plenum to get powdercoated and should have those back soon, I also ordered the Greddy oil block adapter and the Oil stud to put it on block so i can toss that watercooled oil cooler, and run lines to a air cooled oil cooler. Heres some photos so I dont bore anyone. and yes, having motor sideways was very...interesting..
  7. Sorry about that, I have been tearing down my s14 and doing a bunch of prep work to get it ready for 26 as well as track time. but here are a few photos of it!
  8. Hey Guys, Im not one to really show off what my plans are...but that's okay cause I live in the states lmao. And I will need you guys help on the way to completing my Project! Opinions are always welcome, but try not to be a jerk. Everyone has their own way of doing something and this is how I decided to do it. Enough about that, The project is focused towards participating in events such as time attack/ time trials, Road racing, autocross and drifting. I love Drifting and Time attack, but there's just not that much of it in the area I live in so im open to things like autocross and such that are more in my local area. *PS* - I take a lot of photos, love it, hate it, i dont care. lol So a little history, This is my 95 Nissan 240. I bought it when i was a little over 16yrs, im turning 20 in Janurary. It had the Ka24de motor in it and it was as close to factory as it gets. Since I've owned it Ive done a couple changes : * Xxr 527 17x10 +25 all around ( 8mm spacers in front) * 235/45 Toyo proxies , yes they are stretched quite a bit. * Isis hr Pro Coilover and Full Isis Exhaust * Nrg Steering wheel with quick release etc. * stripped and painted engine bay etc. * bunch of other little boring stuff like relocating battery etc. Since I first started liking cars, i was always in love with Rb motors just like the typical nissan fan boy, so i had to go out and get me one! Opportunity came along and I grabbed it! Ive only had it for a couple months and honestly they are pretty simple engines. minus the hardlines vacuum lines coolant etc. you guys get where im coming from! So when i got it, it was rusted up pretty bad on the surface and around it so me and my ocd self decided to clean it up, mainly because its cheap and i can tear it down and see what im working with before i start building it! oh...and cause i like things to look PURTYY lol The guy i bought it from gave me a top mount manifold but i googled and its the TopSpeed Top mount mani , and honestly. it looks like a crap mani...I think i could weld better then that.. Looked Good though! I finally grew a pair and put the heavy block on the engine stand! scariest thing ive ever done. and to this day is still scary.. so i slowly started to tear down the ex-side of engine mainly because it had the least amount of little stuff that i had to worry about messing up so i got to it, was a little scared about how the inside of the head looked on exhaust side but buddies told me that its suppose to look like that on exhaust side. After pressure washing and cleaning and everything, I picked up a couple cans of engine enamel and got to prepping and painting! Dont bash my paintjob. I did it how its suppose to be done by the book lol. 2 full days of prep work, 1 day of priming and curing each coat and another day of painting and curing. Started to tear down the intake side and boy was that complicated with all those dang hoses...ugh! my plenum came like this, ive been told this happens often on stock paint?? . getting it powder coated as well as valve covers and cam/timing covers. why nissan made this, is beyond me..cause it looks like its going to be a pita to get it back in, if it even works...can this be removed?? if so what are penalties or benefits? individual throttle bodies are pretty cool. and inside the head looked pretty clean/new if i may say so myself. engine is suppose to only have 42k kilometers or w/e it is lol. there was some buildup on my IACV...guess a section of my gasket was blown ..i dont know. tested the themostat...wasnt impressed by how late it opens..going to have to upgrade that to a colder step . does anyone know where i can get these hoses in silicone or anything? I know they are known to cause problems. and i dont like problems. lol This is how she sits as of right now, tonight..I need to go pick up some more paint and primer for tomorrow. as well as cleaning materials. On a side note, i was wondering if anyone could tell me anything about this ecu or how i can find out if my engine is out of a r33 or r32. the seller told me it was a late model r32 but i dont know what to think and history says dont trust the seller lol. thanks! More updates will come on a daily basis as long as the funds are there. I have alot more parts on hand, just want to inspect and clean up a bit before I get down to the serious business! Stay tuned! - Tim
